We beat Dundee United 1-0 in a game up at Tannadice this afternoon.

We drew 2-2 with Falkirk earlier in a closed door game. Liam Kelly saved a penalty with minutes remaining.

Reading a Kettlewell interview earlier he mentions we are 6 first team players down on the side that helped us achieve a strong finish and that we will need to move some players on before we can sign others. Obviously we had a bloated squad as we added many new bodies in January but it would have been interesting to see how things played out if Casey, Goss, Mandron etc all accepted new deals.

Kettlewell confirmed in an interview with the Daily Record that Sean Goss won't be returning. Least thats now put to bed.

I see the youth player Jevan Beattie has signed for Sheffield United.

I read that Gordon Young's book earlier in the year and he spoke about him. We had really high hopes that he would progress into the first team but just as he was on the cusp of doing so he suffered a horrible injury. Fair play to the guy for working his way back, not the best penalty taker though. It was also interesting in that book the amount of highly rated young talents we lose at a younger age.
