  1. Frustrating day at the office. It seems like they just make up the VAR rules as they go. Earlier in the season at Fir Park a County player handles it and it sets up nicely for them to score and we were told they can only penalise if the scorer did it. I could see Shinnie handle it at the end but I'm just assuming it was struck at him at close proximity. Collum is such a pish ref you just knew he'd brandish a yellow for Roos on the 90th minute, the old chestnut despite warning him countless times by the 40th min. Great chance missed to go 8 points in front of them. For a team who have had two weeks off we seemed sluggish and devoid of any real creativity at times. They seemed to be getting some real joy with simple long punts.
  2. He was always on Twitter posting regularly and answering fan's questions etc over the years but he hasn't been seen on that platform since early January. I know many of our fan's behaviour on social media was laughable but it must be stressful listening to Aberdeen fan's unrealistic expectations. What's the goss? He always seemed to be well thought of. I must admit I thought last year he had done the dirty as I felt he was tapped up by Aberdeen but after listening to Derek Weir's interview a month or so ago I got the impression that with all the cutbacks that have been made, Alan probably felt he has taken the club as far as he could go as things he had built had regressed plus I was privy to one project, the club had in the pipeline but that has been shelved for now.
  3. This season has been mental. Beat Aberdeen on Saturday and we go eight points in front of them. At one point the games played were really unbalanced they were just above us sitting on 4 or 5 points more with 3 games in hand, I fully expected them to be out of sight. It's frustrating to think we threw away a three-goal lead at Pittodrie as we had blown them away. If Duk starts then please launch him into Wishaw post haste, seems to have the effect that VV did with them.
  4. Willie Collum the ref for this one.
  5. Shhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaagggggg Meeeeeeeeeeeee
  6. Feels like the clock is going backwards. You just know it's going to be double digits of time added on if the score remains the same.
  7. Alan Muir is the ref this weekend, the same guy that done this fixture at Ibrox earlier in the season. He gave them the benefit of doubt for each and every decision. I wouldn't be surprised if we give a decent account of ourselves but frustratingly end up coming up short. I would love to relive a Ray Farningham type scenario where we score the winner in the dying embers of the game. Once upon time we had a great knack for getting points off the arse cheeks at the business end of the season. Anyway they are missing a few key players due to injury.
  8. Nice from the man with the well chiseled chin.
  9. Yes, you are correct lol, dunno why I think it's Tuesday.
  10. St Midden vs Ross County is live on Sky Sports the nicht. Hopefully, our former players and coaching staff can do us a big favour.
  11. Deffo more, it was in December 2013 when they had done the worst damage and it lay like that for months. I don't think a fixture goes by against them now where they don't cause some sort of costly damage.
  12. Totally incompetent ref tbh, before VAR when all questionable reds went to the review panel it always seemed to be his that we got over turned. It's a shame he is the ref for this game as it'll be his show.
  13. We have played well against them this season, at Fir Park I felt we had done more than enough to win but we had passed up a few glorious efforts before we got stung right at the death not once but twice. We defended brilliantly at Parkhead but we gave them a lifeline when it looked like they were toothless up front. It'll be interesting to see how Celtic react to Rangers going top of the table, by all accounts they haven't been playing great as of late but they have still been grinding out results. I wouldn't be surprised if it's yet another game where we are left thinking of what could have been. I'm looking forward to getting the games between the arse cheeks over with but we do have an important game against Livi sandwiched in between, that then leaves us with four fixtures before the league split. 33 points is the lowest amount that a team has managed to avoid the playoffs with, you would like to think that tally is beyond Livi but they do have a favorable run of fixtures as they play County, Well then St Johnstone. It will be interesting to see how that pans out, County also are in action next Tuesday playing their game in hand.
  14. Another one of those performances that typifies our season, missed some great chances, and can't defend set pieces. Annoying that Mandron missed a penalty against Livi, it would be nice to see them totally dead and buried as they now have back-to-back wins going into games against County then us.
  15. Casey loves an effort from miles out.
