  1. We really are our own worst enemy. They never had a sniff in the final third up until that pizza posing nonce is allowed to gallivant into the box unchallenged.
  2. Recent weather obviously has taken its toll on the pitch as its looking a worn. It's scary how threadbare the squad is.
  3. Plenty of familiar faces in the Alloa squad, I think they have 5 ex players but in saying that outwith Conor Sammon the other 4 only made a handful of appearances for the first team. Alloa have been on decent form as of late, undefeated in the last 6. Tricky tie no doubt.
  4. It might not be the most exciting of signings but I'm actually quite pleased with the addition of Halliday, I think his experience and versatility will serve us well. While not as experienced Montgomery came on to a game with St Johnstone last season so hopefully he can recapture that form.
  5. I know injuries are part and parcel of football but it's scary how many long-term injuries that have been sustained in training over the last 5 or 6 years. Carroll, Hartley, Fox, Dunne, and Tanner to name a few.
  6. Yeah in recent times they loaned a guy to Ross County recalled him and sent him to Hibs only to recall him early into the arranged loan to sell him. Hopefully as nothing has been mentioned its just a case of Arsenal having a look at him over the winter break. Three clubs in England recalled their players on New Year's Day least we had the decency to alert Huddersfield that Spencer will serve his suspension if they held off a day. When Mika was injured he returned to Arsenal for a sizeable amount of time to get back up to speed but obviously that's generally the norm with loan players.
  7. Brodie Spencer goes straight into the starting lineup for Huddersfield as they play Man City in the FA Cup.
  8. Yeah, the Old Firm, two cheeks from the same arse as the saying goes. The ever lovable Ally McCoist went full Neil Lennon at one point demanding to know the names of a trio of people on a panel who dared vote to place a year long transfer embargo on them, which then led to the names being leaked and death threats being thrown there way. Then you have the recent nonsense over a potential penalty that was offside anyway that they refuse to let go, apparently they have heard the audio and it contains no mention of the offside. Obviously the lack of communication at the game was poor but the video evidence is clear as day. One thing I find hilarious though about Old Firm fans are they know each others business, a Celtic fan I work with was raging about the shirt pull they got away with against us on Christmas Eve and provided me with evidence of a certain David Dickinson giving them one earlier this season against Morton for a slight tickle.
  9. Wilkinson to Colchester confirmed. And for an undisclosed fee.
  10. Against Livingston at the weekend Shaw was booted in the face at standing height, we got a foul but no card. In the St Midden game vs Celtic atm, Joe Hart dives down but gets a boot to the mush, goes to VAR then guys sent packing. Both should merit a red surely.
  11. FT 2-2. Sickener to concede at the end.
  12. He was out injured for most of his Firhill spell. I think he still might be.
  13. I don't know if he is injured or such, but Maguire last played for Kidderminster on the 11th November, if his loan isn't extended then we will be stuck with him for the rest of the season as he will have played games for two clubs this season. McGinley hasn't kicked a ball for Partick so we will be stuck with him also.
  14. Mark O'Hara racking up the penalty misses. Terrible one against Aberdeen today but he did get on the scoresheet. Jermaine Hylton apparently got into a fight with a team mate last week at Arbroath.
  15. Blaney looked to be suffering an injury right at the end of the half. Mugabi been called in.
  16. I'd imagine Souare will be turfed out in January. We were usually kind with players who were injured by offering them a contract but after a few decided to leave when they got back to full fitness I'm assuming we have changed our ways as we let Carroll go only offering him training facilities.
  17. I sat next to two tadgers in the POD against Morton a few years ago and when they scored in Extra Time to go 1-0 up they got up cheering and appaulding as the player celebrated in front of us below. Then they left, thankfully we turned that tie around but it was totally weird behavior.
