Walking into fir park on tuesday about 7.05 i couldnt help but notice a youngish female steward get a bollocking from her supervisor for the heinous crime of having her hands in her pockets. This is an old c*nt with no hair so he's obviously been used to the cold. If i didnt have my hands in my pockets i would of slapped him.

Couldnt get the top on. Thought there was some problem with my head, so tried a welly just to be sure with disasterous consequences...

Disappointed with some of the stick dished out last night. A few skulls were giving it pretty tight to Hammell all game, which i thought was unneccesary. McGarry was getting verbals as soon as he stepped on the park, didnt have a chance. Worst i heard was reserved for Murphy, when play broke down, was labelled 'ya wee dick'. A small minority of dunderheids. (I also dont understand why some people insist on giving a mystic meg style commentary on the whole game "Keep going Ross, now pass it to Jimbo. He passed it to Jimbo, told ye he'd dae that! Shut the f*ck up!) As for Lukas, from what i've seen he's been very poor, although i agree at times he looks like he's about to burst into a player. Sadly for Lukas, we can all look up his background on the net and see whilst he cost a milllion, his last two loan spells have gone dramatically wrong. A couple of reserve bounce games maybe would help bring him up to speed with our game.

Hammell for me tonight.

Lackluster, but ultimately deserving of the win. Thought Hammell and Yassin were excellent. Forbes, Hateley and Coke were steady enough without being spectacular. The defence did look shaky at times. McHugh put in a decent enough shift, but didnt really stand out. The big Pole looks like someone has threw hair on Callum Elliot and dropped him off at the front door of fir park. For such a big commanding looking guy he doesnt do anything. Hopefully another couple of games and he'll start to pick up the pace of Scottish Football. Mention must go to McGarry who i thought looked competent when he come on and in my view can still add to the team possibly later on in the season. Overall, its a win, we're in the next round and Hampden's getting closer.

Think we'll really need to stifle united's midfield, i'd be tempted to put Reynolds in the holding role again, whilst admittedly it hasn't been too successful to date, i think with a bit of work it could come in useful going to places like tannadice, easter road and tynecastle..something like: RUDDY MOO CRAIGAN SAUNDERS HAMMELL REYNOLDS HATELY COKE O BRIEN MURPHY SUTTON If its going pear shaped early on then we can always bring in forbes/jennings and move reynolds into the back.

Cant believe how gutted i am to actually take a point off the old firm. But three points were there for the taking and we blew it. Outstanding team performance, controlled the vast majority of the game. Saunders and Reynolds looks like a solid partnership. Tom Hateley was outstanding and continues to impress me. I think we need to sign this boy up on a long term deal. He does the dirty work and can play competently in a few positions. Jennings was outstanding in my view second half. Very disappointed and looking at the table we could easily be sitting with 8 points..at least!!
