Nae rules to understand, just violence all the way There was two of us when i was over that used to go and watch the games(when we were on) at the Burswood Casino. We always wondered if there was anymore dossers floating about. Found out when i left perth that one of the guys i used to work with was a Well fan. Next Well game at Burswood will be the the Rangers game, would be nice if there was a wee turn out from the well boys over there.

It certainly is!

I personally think your spot on there Johnstone. which is pretty sad
-
Thats the answer, just enjoy the city before u even think about working. Most of the hostels tend to have job notice boards so should pick up something easy enough
-
Thats the saddest part for me. You know the mhanks are perceived as ambulance chasers. But when its one of their own the club and fans get it spot on.

Went over on the e457..two year working contract, but four year visa. The place where i worked would sponsor you for your residency after the initial two years.

I've applauded or stood silent for a minute on many occasions at fir park. Some for Well legends, some for well boys i never even got the chance to see play, other times for nothing related to Motherwell whatsoever. I'll happily sacrifice 60 seconds out of my life to reflect on the contribution that Uncle Phil, Tommy Burns or soldiers killed in action from wars even my parents didnt see. Some mean alot, some mean very little. But its 60 seconds, your no being asked their to stand all night. For the well boys that have passed, a minutes silence/applause gives you a minute to stand at fir park and remember the boys gracing the park..times they got your heart pumping by a bit of clever trickery or a goal you talk about for weeks and months, and even the times they had a howler and you were calling for their heids. Not everyone has the internet and not everyone uses these forums where they can show their respects. I think the club are wrong in not allowing our fans a one minute tribute, some fans are really quite angry about this and the story that Well73 got i believe is a total whitewash, with respect, i dont believe many in our squad would of even heard of Paul McGrillen and dont see how they would be making this decision. If there is room on the offical site for an update on Craigans testimonial golf day..a reflection on a great man who's gave alot to motherwell, then surely to god a couple of paragraph's can be churned out with regards to why we snubbed a fans tribute to Mowgli. As whilst some do not care for these kind of tributes, others find it a fitting and respectful way to say goodbye and thanks.

Spent six months in Perth at the start of the year there. There's another couple of Well boys in the city, who no doubt will be in the Burswood Casino sports bar for the Well/Rangers game.

Jim, did you get some silver? Did you get a little gold? Who did you get us Jim, to fire in the Motherwell goals? He couldn't get no silver, He couldn't get no gold, You know that we're too damn poor, so Jim went down south and got us a Pole To the tune of Led Zeppelin -

UNCOMPROMISING Town defender Andy Butler has leapt to the defence of loan signing Lukas Jutkiewicz and insisted: “He just needs a lucky break.” The 20-year-old striker, on-loan from Everton until the end of the season, was substituted after half an hour by Town boss Lee Clark in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with rock-bottom Cheltenham. Jutkiewicz, who is still searching for his first Town goal since joining the club in the January transfer window, threw his training top to the ground after being replaced by Danny Cadamarteri on Saturday. The beleaguered forward was jeered off the pitch by a section of Town’s fans, who chanted: “You’re not fit to wear the shirt.” However, he has apologised to Clark and the fans for his reaction this week. Butler, who rescued a point for Clark’s side with a goal in the third minute of stoppage time, has pleaded with the club’s supporters to rally behind the teenage striker. He said: “Lukas has been really bubbly in training this week and has been banging them (goals) in for fun. “I thought it was a bit harsh the abuse he got on Saturday. I don’t think he has done a lot wrong. We haven’t been playing well as a team and creating enough chances for him. “He is a young lad and it can’t help him when the fans are shouting at you. He is a good player and he has a lot to offer if they give him a chance. “Lukas just needs a lucky break and then the goals will come thick and fast for him. “If the fans get behind him, I’m sure Lukas will give that bit extra and we will start to see the best of him.”

Six month deal, that'll do for now in this financial climate. Welcome aboard!

Good Effort Mate!!!!! Hope you enjoy the game. Im sure this season that some of the wellboys will reciprocate and head down to Stockport for a days bevvying and football. (infact, eyeing up your fixtures i see Leeds away is on the weekend of the 5th. Could be a good shout as the alternative will be Scotland/Macedonia and im not to excited about seeing this lot give us the round around at hampden)

Non story...lets be honest, i think anyone of us would like to volley balls at Andy Goram as hard as we could.
-
Managed to snap a pic of our new striker leaving DL this morning

They won the league cup with Fletcher...Beuzelin, Scott Brown, Steven Whittaker, David Murphy. Killen and Riordan were gone. O'Connor was practising his Russian in Moscow. For all the 'big' players Hibs had at that time, they really didnt live up to it. Considering the players they've had at the club since 98, they currently sit sixth in the all time SPL table, behind Kilmarnock and marginally ahead of us. The boy Stokes is a big signing for the club, however with their defence still more than short and a midfield consisting of Kevin McBride and Patrick Cregg. I wouldnt be tipping Hibernian for the title yet!
-
They've also had one of the better forward lines the last few years...Fletcher, Killen, O'Connor and done nothing.
-
He just talks sense!!
-
Its got to be the boy 'Saric', for having really sharp hair!!!

12 notes for teams out with the old firm, 15 notes for the old firm. Lets become the Primark of Scottish football!!!

Heard a few nuggets doing the rounds...craigan no happy, reynolds handing in a transfer request, english players being treated like gods by gannon. Seems like gossip. Gannon comes across as a very shrewd individual, and will look after the club, long term, better than his predecessor.

Ruddy had a few incidents that he could of handled alot better. Not useless, but some poor decision making from him today.

Missed the first 15 minutes due to said traffic. Took about 50 minutes to negotiate it. Forth Road Bridge job on the way back and zoomed home.

Just in, Missed the first 15 minutes due to the traffic chaos at castlecary. At one point was contemplating just saying f*ck it and heading to the clyde stirling albion game. Glad i carried on, fantastic game of football. One of the best i think we'll see this season as i can picture some of the dross games coming up over the winter. St Johnstone were impressive and will be no where near the bottom of the table on this showing. They were solid first half and second half it was 50/50. I'll need to see the replay tonight, but thought the ball had crossed the line just before they scored, and as others have said Ruddy and the defence in general were shocking. Anytime St Johnstone were near our goal you expected them to score. Stand out performances for me were from Coke, Murphy, Humphreys when he came on, McHugh, Hateley who was solid at right back and my man of the match Ross Forbes. Wonder strike from him. JOB was unlucky with his effort and we also had a header that whistled over the bar. Superb game of football. Bring on Killie with next week.........then McGhee. Come on well!!
