Well lets start bringing them in just now. Twenty minutes..odd appearances before the season ends. Basically what jeffers/casagolda will/should get. And the ranting/raving boy a few posts back..maybe you crack one off whenever you see or hear any well news, some of us like to look at decisions made by our clubs custodians and some we question. Have a look on other forums an you.ll see we're no more paranoid/angry/miserable/doom an gloom as the rest. Also have exactly the same wee factions...happy clappy boys who'll toe the party line, the seniors who have been going to fitba for 40 plus years, c***s who are never happy, boys who think the worlds about to end with every decision there club makes, c***s who try to be funny, insider types who think they know everything going on, the loyal ex pats, birds, foreigh supporters, genuine discussion types who cant stand the nonsense and swearing. Group yourselves accordingly

It could be argued that our most consistent period in terms of league position and european football has came on the back of the whole administation fiasco, being forced to play boys who in your view would not be ready for first team football and selling them on for a healthy sum. Is Gary Smith, Bob McHugh and the likes ready for first team football?? No idea. I'd hazard a guess and say they would at least bring to the table what Casagolda does right now. Your right, for a period Clarkson got pelters. But the bottom line is his departure helped Gannon rebuild what we seen before us last season. He's earning a fortune banging in goals in a better league and we managed to rebuild a thin squad. That is how we survive. Self sufficiency rather than the begging bowl. Hutchison will hopefully one day move on for a big fee but there is an obvious injury question mark that will take a while to shake off before he goes for a substantial amount of cash. Saunders...not in his current state. A departing captain and a shift to centre back could revive his development. There is a reason why Mr Knox used to refer to him as 'Goal a game'...it certainly wasnt for his striking prowess. Forbes...no. Hateley...no. The Humph...jury is still out. Well needs to be filled rapidly before next summers transfer window comes round. Those stadium repairs wont pay for themselves (nor with a few old firm pennies).

Typical short term outlook. We'll survive if we dont make top six. I'd rather start producing some young players we can sell on. Once Murphy goes the well begins to look dry. We've been able to strengthen our squad in the past because we've sold players like McDonald, Clarkson, Quinn, Porter. Another game against Celtic/Rangers is worth fuck all in the grand scheme of things. Time to stop expecting Glaswegian hand outs to tide us by.

Would of thought this would be the ideal time to be playing the likes of Smith, Pollock, McHugh (in six weeks). When there is nothing riding on our upcoming games. We wont go down. We may gain a place or two, but forget europe. Unable to score in the league, haemorraghing points to teams directly above/below us, an apathetic fanbase. Frannie Jeffers isnt going to get people flocking back, but unearthing a local gem or two just might.
-
Would we not be better trying out the young boys rather than wasting a wage on someone like Francis Jeffers, who a) we wont sign and sell on for a fee and b) even if he plays well will move on to another team in the summer. The only way we'll get by in the future is by improving and selling on what we have. The money we make by moving people on is more important than finishing 6th rather than 7th or 8th.

Well scouting team...

Port Vale 1 Rotherham 0 No sacking. No player revolt. The Anti-Gannon brigade will need to find something else to jack off to today

Perhaps lost in translation and we're actually getting one of their boys to drive the Parks of Hamilton on matchdays

Never caught the start of it, but boys were celebrating the second h*n goal think they may of been banging the glass lording it up over the Well fans. h*n boy started lifting a cup in mock celebration and the Well boys decided they wanted in the box to maul him....Fair enough in my opinion!!
-
F*ck the game, highlight was the Well boys trying to invade the hospitality box to smash the wee h*n.

Exaggeration Munster...a stream or small burn at most!

Did the police wade in?
-
When the said something is pish and your jammin a new pair of gutties, then with some difficulty.. wading -To walk in or through water or something else that similarly impedes normal movement. Walking with your feet in shallow water. Which used in a sentence would look something like: "Why the fuck were fans wading through pish during the Rangers game on boxing day?"

Well done first of all Leanne for sticking your head above the parapet when it would of been easier to keep quiet. However.. I wont be attending Monday night as a) i cant really be bothered putting a fiver of petrol in the car to come through and b) i still believe the club will vote for the 10 team league despite our opinions. Skeptical perhaps. What i'd want to know on Monday night though would be the following.. Did John Boyle make the final call in appointing Stuart McCall as manager of MFC and what does he actually do at the club these days? Which members formed the interview commitee and decided on a manager that no one wanted, and more importantly an assistant manager that very few respect? Why is the club continually naive when it comes to players/managers contracts? Is a 34 year old journeyman an appropriate use of a wage in these economic times and does it fit in with the idea of bringing through youth players, or young players from England with a view to sell? Did we ever put forward a case for fairer distribution of finances during the working group meetings or were we afraid to address this issue with the Old Firm? What efforts did we make to secure a further loan deal with Nick Blackman? Do the club realise the gravity of the situation with regards to our pitch, and should heads roll this season if it once again turns out to be the same farce of the last two years? The club will have to accept that 3700 attendances will be the tip of the iceberg unless our views are actually taken on board. Dismiss the overwhelming majority of Motherwell/scottish football fans ,who oppose the 10 team spl, and Motherwell FC will be playing to Hamilton attendances shortly. The demoralising comments come from demoralising managerial and assistant managerial appointments, poor results, the continious downsizing of the squad, a squad which in reality was already short by 3 or 4 prior to this transfer window, incompetence, paying your money to wade through ankle deep pish to watch 22 individuals massacre the game of football. Oh aye, and what is the real story behind Gannon's departure??

As of Tuesday we had shifted 1700, roughly.

What about a manager who's extensive cv doesnt read: played for da rangers and managed a league 2 team down south doing the square root of fuck all with them. Affordable candidates off the top of my head (not that i would personally be jumping for joy if any of them got it, but perhaps be more optimistic than i am now)...Calderwood, Laszlo, Adams, Stark Assistant? How about someone who isnt a total dick...infact, scratch that, be a dick all they want but have a degree of competence....Throw Black into the Hegarty/Malpas mix of stange wee men who are fucking hopeless as managers but deemed good coaches(even though nobody would have them outside these shores because they are mind fuckingly backward in their approach) Players? English players are starting to click that our football is utter garbage, to the point they'd rather play with Fleetwood Town, so lets look down into our own division one. Plenty of players more than capable of dealing with regular SPL football. Decent manager, decent contacts, savvy with finances and a good wheeler dealer. If McCall's unable to do that to a satisfactory level then he should never of been hired in the first place...Time will tell. The last six weeks have left me with the impression that Derek Weir is on some sort of one man crusade to bury the club with his input into the shite decision making going on. McCall, naw.. Black, naw... 10 team SPL, naw.

Fair play to the 3700 odd who turned up...Me? Well i just couldnt be arsed leaving the house. (Glad i didnt) Mon the Well!
-
Hope we're not penny pinching here, but its looking more likely as the days go by. Wouldnt be shocked if Young was promoted within or told to do the two jobs.

Communications and Consultation The club will consult supporters on a regular basis through meetings and dialogue with the Association of Motherwell FC Supporters’ Clubs, the Motherwell Supporters’ Trust and members of the Millennium and Vice-Presidents Clubs. The club also intends to undertake, at appropriate intervals, questionnaires, opinion polls and suggestion schemes, to allow as many of our supporters as possible to express their views and opinions on a wide range of issues Taken from the club charter...Waste of time actually transfering it onto the new website as its an utter joke.

It just confirmed to me that he was an absolute dunce..
