  1. Our club are accountable to the SPL, SFA and ourselves. Not some wank probably watching from his armchair in Dundee. The point of playing at home isn't to give the away fans a wee day/night out in Motherwell, its about playing up the advantage, getting behind our own team and getting it right up the away team making life uncomfortable for them. Leeann Montgomery should be spending her time sorting out the stewarding, no responding to some follow follow dick.
  2. After bevvy stealing prisoners and hundreds of thousands of wonga down the drain in pitch scandal....comes some happy Motherwell related news: Click
  3. With Rangers coming to town with the camera's on wednesday, our pitch will be quite rightly exposed for what it is. F*cking murder
  4. Likewise...ragin 2 - 0 well
  5. Well deserved after our SPL record in January. Not just steadied the ship, but got us playing tighter at the back and some good stuff up front.
  6. Great efforts from the budding kit designers. Petrol blue one would be worth parting with the cash, as a one off
  7. Shot stopping, installing confidence in your defence, commanding the area.. A step above buzz in every department and i'd agree with flow, the best keeper to be between the sticks in a long while.

    Aberdeen

Point up north wouldnt be the worst.
  9. Heard he's a bit of an arrogant wank who doesnt rate scottish football. No thanks.
  10. You dont need eyes like overcoat buttons to see some of the saves Ruddy has made this year, which have won us many a point we shouldnt of had. Defence has improved on last years showing, just shows how confidence builds when you have a solid keeper between the sticks.
  11. From what i've seen of him in the Unders...Pollock
  12. But was appointed twenty odd year ago and no two minutes ago. Brown as i said im sure will do a good job and has all my support. To call the full time appointment of the interim manager, a 69 year old out of club football for 5 years "inspired", is stretching an enthusiast response to a whole new level. Good appointment, great news, competent manager. Inspired?
  13. Anyone with a bit of savvy can see exactly what Trafficlight means. Just cause you think the guys a dick doesnt mean you have to lower yourself to your own view of him. Thats just my view. Knock yourself out. But back to the point, naw he's no the most inspired choice or progressive thinker we could of had. But he's a safe pair of hands, knows scottish football inside out and will make us hard to beat..much like his previous managerial posts.
  14. Trafficlight is suggesting that appointing a 69 year old isn't exactly the fresh faced new ideas kind of guy Gannon was(or claimed to be) but is a safe pair of hands. I'd suspect if it was a different poster Mon_da_well you wouldnt even bat an eyelid. Perfectly good forum to rip into Trafficlight anytime you want on the Man U thread.
  15. The standout keeper of the last ten years for me. In that time, many a good striker has came through the club. So i'd spend the money on Ruddy. Unfortunatly, we wont get either.
  16. Aww naw. Back to buying the guardian to get my daily fix of intriguing and witty insight. Brrrrrrrppp
  17. Went along. Paid the cash. Few boys left at half time to go to the pub. Wished i'd done the same.
  18. He's been dynamite for the Mariners this season
  19. A 'close source' to Decorator has confirmed that this picture was not taken in Albania. Very clever with the flags and Albanian copper in the background...but i can exclusively reveal exactly where this picture was taken: But that shouldn't mask the original point which i would agree with 100%
  20. In eight years as Scotland manager, he lost only nine competitive games. Archie Knox's Scottish Premier League history is well known. He more than matches up against previous Well managers...Butcher, McGhee, Davies.. His record is arguably better than our last short list of Gannon, Boothroyd, Sanchez and Staunton. I wouldnt have him down as a visionary. But he is respected within the game, took this country to two footballing tournaments and was the last manager to do so with a squad no better than the current one (no disrespect to Tosh McKinley, Scott Gemmill and Matt Elliot). At this stage i dont feel we'd be able to attract a more competent management duo, without taking a needless risk. Brown/Knox till the end of the season and re-evaluate then. That no sound reasonable Trucky boy??
  21. Nah dont dae that silly billy. Judge him on his previous 33 years managerial experience. Dont go with one game...thats just you being a silly sausage little Trucks
