Superb, end to end 2nd half today, after a dire 1st half. I hope the highlights show Murphs booking, most comical yellow you will see all season! When the 3rd went in, felt the same way as scorin the 1st last week, jumpin around like a loony on some random guy next to ya, what a feelin!! Bring on the Rangers!!

Thought an assessment of the job SM is doing was due up, while we are at an exciting point of the season and when we are on a high...... Am delighted with how hes done/doing. Love the attacking and the "never give the opposition time" philosophy he adapts, the players seem to be enjoying him too, looks a great togetherness within the squad. We are, and always will be, an up n down team, thats part of the job description supporting the `Well. Looks to have an eye for a player also, 4 good additions been added (Granted Mo Ross has only played 90mins and there all poss short term), but obviously the summer is when he will be properly judged on that front. Very honest in his post match anylasis too. Even the folk that doubted him must be happy at how hes done. Has the chance of giving us a very unique season!! SMWA!!

Why? Anytime the guys been on the park, he don`t look that bad. He ain`t had a fair crack. The way Murphys been playing, well worth a shot. Though would go Sutty n Jeffers tonight Good that Kenneths still out, we can do this, `Mon the Well!!!!!

Just a couple a don`t see mentioned: Motherwell 2-0 Rangers (Sure it was Spenny n Twaddle?) Season 99/00? We just missed out on europe to Hearts, but that was 1 of the best atmospheres I remember at Fir Park, in the May sunshine too!! Dundee Utd 0-4 Motherwell (Clarky, Ports, Klimpl n the 4th escapes me!) Cupla seasons back under Mcghee am sure? Great day!

Those 3 words hit the nail on the head. How clubs can charge £20 for a game thats on the tele is taking the piss. A will be renewing, and always will, mainly due to habit n a love ma fitba on a Sat! Its an expensive hobby we have all chosen to get involved in, but thats not getting away from the fact that were paying up to a £10 more every away game than its actually worth. Every club needs to get a reality check, or every game will feel like a training match (Not far off that just now!)

But, the loss of Hammell (1 of our better players past 3-4months), Lasley (Potentially POTY), Jeffers (Confidence woulda been high after a great game last week) n an early injury to Saunders (Meaning we had to go for an untimely re-shuffle) all had a big part to play today (Not to mention a mightily soft pen decision!!) 4 games to make or break our season now..... C`mon tae fuck lads: Celtic, Rangers, Hearts n a Scottish Cup winners medal..........or Hamilton, St Mirren, St Johnstone n fuck all to show for your efforts over a long couple of seasons?! Couldn`t blame Utd if they don`t agree to a new date, very poor planning on Motherwells part. They may have been caught out by Randys inclusion in the ROI squad, which he thoroughly deserves. But being 1 of our best players this season, you can`t afford to take that gamble!! If the 22nd is available, we should be doing everything to get it arranged for then.

Who cares! Unless you can`t physically make it up to Dundee on Sunday, or genuienly can`t afford it, all Well fans should be at Tannadice. £10 for a Scottish Cup QF is good value, plus the fact we get some of the gate, so get up to the game n cheer the boys on!! `Mon the Well!

Wasn`t there today either, opted for the Newcastle-Everton game, mightily glad a did! Why the fuck are we so inconsistant?! Up until 10am this morning, I was up for making the trip tonight, but then got flash backs to the horrendous midweek game at Tannadice not so long ago, n also Saturdays still fresh in the memory So the thought of heading up, in a potentially bitterly cold night, not getting back down the road til after midnight, with poss another dire performance/end result, rapidly lost its appeal. Do actually fancy us to get something though Big incentives for both teams, could see a 1-1 draw. Safe travelling to all heading up. Hopefully be coming back to Lanarkshire with a smile on yer coupons!!

A ain`t sayin am bothered by the amount of players each of they teams are bringing in, bring a full squad in if they like!! Point is, we have let 4 1st team players go, which others haven`t, so surely we can afford to bring in even 2 decent SPL standard players from 1 or 2 clubs down south, to have same impact as Blackman/Jutkiewitz had?

Yes,a was dissappointed to hear the deal had fallen through,specially after seein him paraded and lookin forward to seein him play for us 2moro......But,it aint gona happen,SM will have other targets,we deal with it n move on! "Stevie Saunders is injured! Worst thing was, time SM turned round to reply, the guy had shot out the door! On the Ross Forbes debate, if we can get a proper LM in, with pace, Forbes plays 1 in and can spray the ball either side in behind opposition defence. He is a good player, but his lack of pace certainly makes him look worse. Our woeful off the ball movement has a lot to do with his game too.

Gow will be a great 5-a-side player. Very much an individual, who thought/thinks he is a better player than he is. Be good to get back to a "normal" Motherwell line-up on Sunday `MON THE WELL!

Not a great deal to be said about the performance, Brechin should have equalised after Half- time! 2 very decent headers, any striker would have been proud of from Page, capped a MOM display. Gow wasn`t up to much, but give him time. Blackman unlucky with good shot 2nd half. Couldny believe it was the Craig Nelson in goals for Brechin! Thought he retired when the Tennents 6`s had finished!! Good to get in the next round, glad we did it within the 90, but against a better side, reckon we would have struggled tonight. Roll on Thursday!
