  1. Lets be honest folks! Surely, it has a draw written all over it? Discuss?
  2. Moi? Just after a bit of banter mate! Can you honestly feel that Well have a better chance of wiining than Saints? I don't! I like betting on football! (Been a good week backing against the OF) BUT, as a punter, I wouldnt touch this game! Thoughts? (Genuine) - olive branch n aw that??
  3. YES LADS - "i" IS BACK!!!! 40/1 ?? i'm gonna have some of that too! Tomorrow is too close to call! I coudnt back Saints, but, I feel the same as you lot do in that , we can win it, but so can wellies! Recent 2 seasons have proven that there are no BETTING opportunities to be had. Have a great day at our luxyoooooriusss new grunn!! (Feel free to buy me a pint before if you like!)
  4. Faraway I can't see a great deal wrong with it myself - seems quite fair in hindsight!!
  5. (Let's face it - you expected me to pop up here!!) Are you a man of your word???
  6. Good post! Trust me - the Saints fans have the same problems. It was only after an uproar that the club agreed to sell us tickets AFTER Saturdays match. Not all Saints fans stay in Paisley just as not all Well fans stay in Mwell.
  7. You were probably never at the home end at Love Street (On Love STREET) the distance between the turnstyles and the road was minimal - thus a potential hazard (even albeit for 15 minutes every 2nd Saturday) Ironically enough, although I have an S.T., the last time I recall a cash gate was against Motherwell in the cup about 3 years back. They ran out of change so an £18 entry was cut to £15 at 2.55pm The ques for entry at the away end, or, indeed at the new ground are not a problem though. It is just "polis policy" that ALL games at SMFC this season are all ticket. Common sense should prevail next season though! (Wont hold my breath)
  8. I think the police in Paisley insisted that ALL St Mirren games are all ticket. This was ludicrous a couple of years ago when we drew Stenhousmuir in the league cup - MIDWEEK! The logic I believe is that the crowd at the Love Street end were queing onto the main road & were a road hazard. The polis figured the ques would move quicker if people had a ticket rather than deal in cash. For those moaning about a ticket - there will be plenty on sale on the night! ETA: As for Falkirk - I cant understand that one as it's in the middle of nowhere!
  9. Wrong - it was HMFC that refused to co-operate (as is their right!)
  10. I don't eat shoes at the football - so, no!
  11. I must admit that when I first passed it & also saw the photos I was a bit embarassed. However, once you are inside, I reckon you will be pleasantly surprised!
  12. They did! It was Saturday February 7! It's not Sky's fault Murderwell (or indeed St Midden) couldn't win the tie at the first attempt!
  13. So, one obvious question from the opposition, why didn't MM play Sutton? Surely from the bumpy pitch perspective, a big guy upfront wouldve been ideal?
  14. Fair play to you! I look forward to seeeing you in Paisley - whenever it is! (Could be anyday if Sky get involved!!)
