Aye - Me pished!!! Off to bed! - Nite.
-
Lets be honest folks! Surely, it has a draw written all over it? Discuss?
-
Moi? Just after a bit of banter mate! Can you honestly feel that Well have a better chance of wiining than Saints? I don't! I like betting on football! (Been a good week backing against the OF) BUT, as a punter, I wouldnt touch this game! Thoughts? (Genuine) - olive branch n aw that??
-
YES LADS - "i" IS BACK!!!! 40/1 ?? i'm gonna have some of that too! Tomorrow is too close to call! I coudnt back Saints, but, I feel the same as you lot do in that , we can win it, but so can wellies! Recent 2 seasons have proven that there are no BETTING opportunities to be had. Have a great day at our luxyoooooriusss new grunn!! (Feel free to buy me a pint before if you like!)
-
Faraway I can't see a great deal wrong with it myself - seems quite fair in hindsight!!
-
(Let's face it - you expected me to pop up here!!) Are you a man of your word???
-
Good post! Trust me - the Saints fans have the same problems. It was only after an uproar that the club agreed to sell us tickets AFTER Saturdays match. Not all Saints fans stay in Paisley just as not all Well fans stay in Mwell.
-
You were probably never at the home end at Love Street (On Love STREET) the distance between the turnstyles and the road was minimal - thus a potential hazard (even albeit for 15 minutes every 2nd Saturday) Ironically enough, although I have an S.T., the last time I recall a cash gate was against Motherwell in the cup about 3 years back. They ran out of change so an £18 entry was cut to £15 at 2.55pm The ques for entry at the away end, or, indeed at the new ground are not a problem though. It is just "polis policy" that ALL games at SMFC this season are all ticket. Common sense should prevail next season though! (Wont hold my breath)
-
I think the police in Paisley insisted that ALL St Mirren games are all ticket. This was ludicrous a couple of years ago when we drew Stenhousmuir in the league cup - MIDWEEK! The logic I believe is that the crowd at the Love Street end were queing onto the main road & were a road hazard. The polis figured the ques would move quicker if people had a ticket rather than deal in cash. For those moaning about a ticket - there will be plenty on sale on the night! ETA: As for Falkirk - I cant understand that one as it's in the middle of nowhere!
-
Wrong - it was HMFC that refused to co-operate (as is their right!)
-
I don't eat shoes at the football - so, no!
-
I must admit that when I first passed it & also saw the photos I was a bit embarassed. However, once you are inside, I reckon you will be pleasantly surprised!
-
They did! It was Saturday February 7! It's not Sky's fault Murderwell (or indeed St Midden) couldn't win the tie at the first attempt!
-
So, one obvious question from the opposition, why didn't MM play Sutton? Surely from the bumpy pitch perspective, a big guy upfront wouldve been ideal?
-
Fair play to you! I look forward to seeeing you in Paisley - whenever it is! (Could be anyday if Sky get involved!!)
-
We have finished 3rd before!!
-
Hmm - Well, one part wrong & I await your promise for the 2nd part after the replay!!
-
Don't disagree with ano of that mate! Can we shake hands & get on wth the game? (See you in the bookies)
-
What an immature post from a "MODERATOR" Where did we "bring it on ourselves"? Why shouldn't we have a high opinion of ourselves any more or any less than a Motherwell fan? Are asspirations for greater things so wrong? Of course we are an "irritation" - job done!! Just as you are to us as much as Falkirk, Hibs Hea...ach whats the point? As for the "righteous cause against the old firm" comment, - there is a case of pot / kettle / black here. My 8.30pm post was almost an olive branch, but no - "SUPERMOD" has to stoop to the levels of a tattiemuncher - "everybdy hates us we don't care!!" Personally, I saw you lot as part of "le ressistance" However, I assume / hope YOU are the case of exception! Yes, I DO like the odds, taht is my perogative as a punter, I was merely trying to point out that I felt they were way way too big. I would feel the same if I got 100/30 on Well at Paisley. I am not as shallow as - ermm "certain people" that I am unable to identify a bookies incorrect margin forecast! At no point did I DECLARE that Saints would romp this tie, and, I would hold you in nore respect if you were intelligent enough to be able to see that!!
-
Jim Hamilton & Billy Mehemet have haunted you in the past too - so, I wouldnae get too smug! (Just pray it goes ahead eh?)
-
At last some decent posters!! Yip! I know I leave masel wide open coming on to your board. No malice on my part! We both know that our teams are equalish, and that all games in the last 2/3 years have been balanced tightly. I was surprised to read so many "I hate St Mirren" posts on here? If only like minded people from North Lanarkshire felt the same as we do about the old squirm problems in our local society, then Strathclyde would be a better place? Like always, I am dreading Sunday week! (and before any smartarse says it..we play on the Saturday!!) PS: ref my other post - Saints 100/30 at PaddyPower - no-one on here is likely to dive in, but, really - that is just a plain silly price! See youz tomorrow in the electric bar or whatever it's called!! PP
-
Like you guys - I feel it will be tight! 11/4 at the bookies is a HUGE price for Saints to win. Fill yer boots!!!!

For intelligent, non old-firm "banter" (& general pash as well!!)
