  1. Tactics horrific again. Constantly giving good players 10 yards of space results in only one thing.
  2. Last 10 was a horrible watch but well done to the players for digging in and seeing it out! Hate to think where we’d be without Liam Kelly!
  3. I think he’s much better than the usual!
  4. Not sure we started that way but Donnelly deffo playing on the right side of a back 3 now.
  5. It appears so, assume Woolery & Mugabi both injured.
  6. KVV & Slattery on the bench and Woolery & Mugabi out all together. Another defeat beckons :-(
  7. Very frustrating afternoon. Bizarrely we played better than I expected, just didn’t take our chances and lost a horrible deflected goal. Whilst theres no doubt we’re very poor, Utd aren’t any better. To end up having to play Mugabi up front for the last 15 mins shows how poor we are in that position. He’s not a world beater but where is Roberts?
  8. £25 and predictable I’m already regretting it. The way we’ve set up was ok when it was 0-0 but now we’re behind we have to change it and try and get more possession.
  9. Still showing tickets online but they all seem to be restricted view (the seats that are half orange when you look at the seating plan online)
  10. I just got one online (against my better judgement) but it says it’s restricted view as that looked like it was all that was left. Although I very much doubt we’ve sold out!
  11. Hope I’m wrong, but with that starting 11 if Rangers play reasonably well I fear we’re getting another hammering! How he can possibly start the same midfield that started at Livi beggars belief. Also, the one player who has caused them problems in previous games is on the bench, unbelievable.
  12. Is KVV deffo suspended tomorrow? Was sure I read that on here but just listened to a near 15 min interview with Alexander and it wasn’t mentioned!
  13. Thought exactly the same yesterday re that Josh Campbell tackle, far worse than Mugabi’s. Interesting to note that Beaton took his time, calmed the situation down with both sets of players, and then issued a yellow. Compare that to Colum who excitedly had the red card out for Mugabi within a matter of seconds.
  14. Great result. Defended much better 2nd half. Lots of permutations but I think a point does us next week as long as Hibs and Ross C don’t both win against Hearts and Aberdeen (unlikely).
  15. Surprised he’s persevering with Shields and Efford given how poor both of them were at McDiarmid. Would rather have seen Woolery and Tierney to be honest. A win today would really lift the mood and set up a massive one at Livi next week!
  16. Was just watching the highlights there when I read your post, great spot! Collum deffo goes for his right hand pocket on his shorts and is then set upon by 3 Hibs players, with at least 1 of them making contact with him. Perfect example of why teams must put pressure on weak minded referees throughout games, and on this occasion paid massive dividends for them.
  17. Like most, I find that team selection bizarre! Can only see us shelling long diagonals to Mugabi at RWB.
  18. Dont think any of us know what our best 11 is now to be honest! I would go Kelly, Mugabi, Sol, Ojala & Carroll, Slattery, Donnelly & Shaw, Woolery, KVV & Roberts I accept that I may be the only fan left that still sees the merits in Donnelly! Midfield was really poor on Wed night but I thought he was the best of the 3 (I guess looking at this forum I'm in the minority there!)
  19. Wouldn’t disagree with that. Mugabi has made a couple of errors recently, so maybe the experience of O’Donnell is the way to go. A bit worried about KVV potentially being missing as I don’t think we have any obvious replacement. Maybe Efford through the middle and Roberts & Woolery in the wide areas..
  20. I’d go with 4-3-3 - Kelly, Mugabi, Sol, Lamie, Carroll, Ohara, Donnelly, Shaw, Woolery, KVV, Roberts.
  21. Feel bad not giving it to Woolery after a great assist and goal, however without Liam Kelly’s brilliance the game would have been out of sight by half time!
  22. Remarkable! Huge credit to the manager, coaches and players, even the most optimistic Motherwell fan wouldn’t have seen that coming at half time. I know I’d have taken a 4-0 defeat and gone up the road with no injuries! Rode our luck at times but battled well! Kelly was immense throughout and Woolery was amazing for both goals!
