I think the desired effect of the people singing this song was to get right at McGhee. I think if they called him an arsehole then there is no way it would upset or make him feel the same way it did to be called a paedo. That is why they "simply" did not call him an arsehole. Im not saying it was right for the people to sing it but they certainly achieved their objective.

One was for tickets only and one was for paying at the gate. The problem was that most people had to pay at the gate and didnt have tickets.

This is just a complete over-reaction. It was certainly not a minority signing that song! I wasnt signing the song as I was there with my uncles and we were too busy talking away but if I had been there with my mates I may well have sung it. Everyone knows McGhee is not a peado, so just calm down! Also, I for one did not hear the word fen-ian being used. Id love to see the reaction on here if it turned out the fat prick was a peado! Why do people care what the Scottish media write about our club and its supporters? The majority of the rags we get in Scotland have a history of making up rubbish. Why cant we all pride ourselves by knowing that Motherwell fans are not scum or whatever they would like to call us. The way we have behaved on recent Euro away days proves this and it has been shown by real journalists that dont just write for a reaction.

I dont doubt any of the posters but it really annoys me when people comment with statements such as players will be signing contracts etc without stating how or what they know!

I was out of the country at the weekend there so obviously cant comment too much on it myself but it appears as if there is a real sense of community building up between the players and the fans? All the fans seem to be getting 100% behind the youngsters and they, in return, seem to be praising the fans whenever they get the chance. I may be completely wrong here but thats my thoughts? Anyone care to agree or disagree?

Ridiculous comment. As much as I agree we really should be signing up the youngsters, I dont agree one bit with the comments about Craggs or Lasley!

Good to see that we have got Hutchison for another few years. I would be mainly trying to extend Forbes contract, he will thrive at Motherwell if we manage to keep him!

I doubt Gav went to school with him if Gav is from Lanark and Slane is from Anderston. I dont know him personally so cant comment on the big-headed comment but from seeing him play he certainly shows the ability to become an excellent player for us and long may this continue!
