For those on Twitter you might have heard about this but I thought I would copy and paste the blurb from elsewhere to let others know. From having a quick flick through it already I think it look's good and certainly a different from your usual fanzine. 32 pages of full colour illustration, photography andwriting; Since I Was Young aims to be a string of Fanzines celebrating Motherwell FC fan culture whilst addressing the issues affecting supporters of the club and continuing to look at how we can improve the match day experience and atmosphere at Fir Park and away from home. In what is an introductory issue, Issue One has articles on;clothes, music, an interview with 'Well captain Keith Lasley and much more. Issue one gives an overview of various topics we will look to discuss more indepth in the future as we look to grow the fanzine in size and quantity, whilst offering a taste of things to come by providing insight to atmospheres abroad and an interview with the Norwegian Legion at Aalesunds FK. The Fanzine will be available to buy on the 20thof January at Home to St Johnstone pre match from the Dalziel Arms, outside the Cooper and East Stands. It will also be available for sale next to the drum before and at half time on the day of the game. Costing £2 on the day or £3 delivered to your door first class when we receive it in the next couple of days 200 copies are sure to move with orders already flowing in. To order before the 20th makepayment of £3 via PayPal to sinceiwasyoung@hotmail.co.ukleaving your name and delivery address as a comment. It is also important to note that all proceeds will go, as always, to improving atmosphere by funding fan displays much like at Hampden, in Europe etc. Hope you all enjoy it, any feedback or indeed input for Issue 2 is welcomed. Any Questions or want to know more; follow us on twitter@SIWYfanzine

Celtic cup final.

Really surprised to see the negative responses in here. As for the poster, if you want to use an example which works very well you should try to speak to someone at Cardiff City.

According to the report in the Daily Record, QoS took 1300.

Guys, firstly thank you all for the excellent participation with the display. I am very pleased with the outcome and some of the photos are crackers! When the team came out around 7 minutes early I feared that the East would not be busy enough and we had wasted a fair bit of money but photos prove that it was well worth it. The atmosphere at times was electric and hopefully we can see more of this going forward. It was fantastic to see even the Main Stand on their feet for "Stand Up for the Motherwell". In regards to the paper getting thrown at the Pano players, that was stupid. Nobody can defend it. What I do think is important though is that people realise it wasnt those who set up the display who were throwing the paper. Its very easy to point the finger and blame and yes we will be the easy target. We dont want people throwing the paper which we bought onto the pitch as like others have mentioned it could affect us being allowed to carry out future displays and I think I speak for the majority of 'Well fans when I say that would be a big step backwards. The broken chairs issue is something that we will discuss together and potentially with the club. Chairs will get broken. For us though, if they are broken in our section then I think we should take part responsibility and help out with the repairs & the repair costs. I'm not sure the opinion for the rest of the lads but thats my thoughts. Boys will be boys as they say and I am glad the club pointed out that there was no malice in any damage caused however with a bit of self-policing and control we could come up with a solution. We will continue to try and enhance the atmosphere and overall matchday experience at Fir Park and we hope we can do that with the backing of all Motherwell fans and importantly the club.

Quick bump to say coloured side facing the pitch as the players emerge! Buzzing for the game. Come on ye Well!
-
I'm sure something can be arranged in regards to putting bigger flags to be laid on the unused seats! In terms of the poster paper, one side is either claret or amber with the reverse side white. Please make sure coloured side is facing the pitch when you hold these aloft unless you have an all white sheet in which case just just hold it either way! Again can I ask if you know what these are for please try and explain to anyone around you who may not. At the cup final we managed to get instructions printed on the back but this time we don't so we are relying on everyone to get the word out!

Folks, We have planned a fans display, similar to the Cup Final display in 2011, and we would like to take this as an opportunity to emphasise that we need your participation to make this a success. Its our biggest game at Fir Park and for this reason we are attempting the biggest display we have done at Fir Park. Claret, Amber or White poster paper will be deployed on every seat in the East Stand and we would ask that you hold these items aloft as the teams emerge from the tunnel until they split from the team photos / handshakes. The paper will most likely be rolled up and stuck in the seats like below and it would be greatly appreciated if you could explain to those around you that may not read this board what the purpose of these items are. We hope this shall create a sea of C&A and be a great sight for the team as they emerge for potentially the biggest game of their career. For anyone in the Main Stand, please take some photos! As always thanks to those who have donated in the past & if anyone wants to contribute to future actions (Europa League) you can via PayPal to josh-171@hotmail.co.uk Roll on Tuesday

What a season it has been following the 'Well. Here's hoping next year is even better, check this video one of the guys has put together! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYK7DyPuZkg

Kids welcome and no doubt get the English games on the TV!
-
Get yourself along. Doubt the numbers will be as good as Tynecastle but hoping for a good 'Well support. I think we might sneak a win and if not at least we can still party!
-
Any photos or videos of the display against Celtic today? I know materials didnt arrive on time so the guys went for a quick plan B and from what I've seen it looked pretty good.
-
That would be great Pie! If you want I can fire you over the sort code and account number who takes control of the funds? Also, cheers to all those who contributed again. Without giving to much away as of yet, hopefully a good bit of colour at the game on Sunday!
-
Folks, Firstly, MASSIVE MASSIVE THANKS to all who donated last time round. We spent a fair wack on paint, material, sowing and telescopic poles but in the end it was all worth it and we got this cracker completed!! Safe to say it took a long time and also we should really thank the club for helping us find somewhere to do the painting! As your well aware and you don't need me to tell you, Champions League football is what we all want at Fir Park and we are wanting to do every bit possible to drive the team on to this goal. Were hoping to get some more colour and noise brought to Fir Park and potentially some of the away grounds after the split and it would be greatly appreciated if you helped out! Still the same pay-pal which can be found at the top!
-
Cracking photo Ricky! Cost quite a bit on paint / materials as well as a lot of late nights to get this one sorted, glad to see it looked as good as hoped. Again thanks very much to everyone who has donated as without you it would have been a struggle. Hopefully more displays before the season is out!
-
One of the main problems we are facing at the moment is the time when most people are free from work, college and other commitments is a Sunday although thats also the hardest time to get halls due to Church services, schools being closed, pubs seem to have Christenings etc. Sure one of the guys spoke to the club but nobody is around on a Sunday so we are still trying to sort something out. If anyone knows any free halls THIS Sunday, it would be a fantastic help!
-
The more videos and photos the better folks! Cheers again for everyone who has donated, been a good response and materials are being bought for future fixtures, next at Fir Park being the Rangers game Also, a different kind of request but does anyone know any potential halls which we could use for drawing and painting? At the moment we are limited to quite a small space which isnt ideal.

Cheers to those who have donated so far!

Hi guys, As your probably all aware, those down the far end of the East Stand have been doing all they can to increase the atmosphere at Fir Park over the past year or so. The main reason for this post is to try and raise some extra funds for the group to enhance displays and improve the atmosphere from now until the end of the season. As I'm sure you'll all agree, the cup final last year was a fantastic day for all 'Well fans and the photos of the card display were fantastic. This has been another fantastic season and although at the moment we may be gutted we didnt get another trip to Hampden, we want to celebrate a great season in style. For those involved in making the displays, funds are tight, we are a fairly young group with many being students or working part-time so any donations would be greatly appreicated. What I would like to stress is what might not seem like a lot to you, a few quid here and there can make a big difference to a display when buying paint, materials etc. At the end of the season / start of next season we will be organising a few racenights / music nights etc. to rasie funds for next year and I will keep you all posted! We fully understand times are tight and there are other factors like season tickets, well society memberships etc. but if you want to contribute you can donate via PayPal: josh-171@hotmail.co.uk

I'm one of the ones getting ahead of myself here but if we were to qualify for the Champions League, does anyone know if it would be the home or away leg first? Or does it just depend who comes out the pot first?
-
Thought it looked cracking! Anyone got any photos of the display at the end of the East at kick off today?
-
Bottom tier card display they are planning! May I also point out that they mentioned Motherwell, or more specifically Alan Marshall has been fantastic to work with and allowing them early access. Good to hear if you ask me, a wee bit of healthy competition between fans and also this approach from the club will only gain them respect and encourage away fans to come back! I remember the days when the Dons used to pack that South Stand, Scottish football has a lot to do but sensible attitudes from clubs, police and stewards is a start!

Bit of confusion. If we get beat in this champions league qualifier, where do we drop into? sbcmfc stated its a Europa league qualifier but Lobey states it's europa league group stages? Loving the sounds of this! If we get champions league lets just hope we don't get Russia.
