The Duke Will Be At Fir Park Next Season
Iain7_mfc replied to walking down the Fir Park's topic in Club Chat
Nothing official from Coventry yet. Don't put it to bed just yet. -
Oh well. Official Website in shock error....
-
Ye sure? Says on BBC Radio listings that coverage starts at 7:05pm? Surely not an hour and 10 minutes of coverage for us? Rangers or Celtic aye maybe
-
for the third time....no. it is a lump sum of 8 notes. enjoy.
-
Were we evergoing to get him? Don't be so silly. I'm looking forward to Grampa Broons loan signings. Certainly won't be a patch on Mr Gannon's.
-
Anyone know anything about even any radio coverage from the bbc? Or will we have to rely on the Officials site updates, which crashes every couple a seconds anyway....?
-
get that plooky ginger bawbag to fuck. dont want him back near Fir Park.

I can't believe Saunders was dropped last night. He was the best player out of the two games i saw against Brechin and Ayr. Hateley wasn't up to much at all and looked miles off the pace. Also, we would have scored more if Broon didn't play Sutton on the left hand side again. He's a tall striker that can win a ball in the air. Get him in the fucking middle. No point in playing two wingers when there is no one in the box that can stick their nut to the ball. Anyway, i reckon if the away leg was first we would've came back with a defeat. Things will need to improve next week.

Went up last night to tick another ground of the list. First half everyone was pretty rusty but to be fair that's expected. Keeper looked solid and his catching and kicking seemed fine. Was impressed with Shuker, got in about it. Lot of good movement from him aswell, always getting himself into a space. Gazapo wasn't that great. Wanted everything on a plate and very rarely challenged a ball that came into the box. Forbes goal was an absolute belter so hopefully that lifts his confidence again. Lasleys goal was also a bit of a screamer, half volley from the edge of the box. Hammell or Sutton were the two players that stood out though. Sutton will be a big player for us next year. Not going to manage Forfar tomorrow night but roll on Ayr on Saturday

Saving money for a holiday to Ibiza in june. There for the full group stages of the world cup! Magic!
-
Jennings. May not have featured much at the start of the season but he's brung in some class to the midfield, with some class performances. Cracking signing Mr Gannon!

Saunders, Craigan, Hammell, Coke, Jenno, Murphy, Sutton

God the name Yassin Moutouakil still haunts me....

Would've enjoyed todays game even more if it was in February or at the start of the season, but knowing Hibs were winning i couldn't celebrate a goal the way i'd normally celebrate an equaliser at Ibrox. We played well in spells, don't think we pressed Rangers enough and at times didn't have enough urgency especially when there was 50/50 balls which we should be winning. Thought Boyd was all over Saunders for the first goal but he was never ever gonna penalise Kris Boyd for shirt tugging. For the second goal Hateley's defending was terrible. Should never have let Lafferty get a foot to that ball. 3rd goal they broke us apart and they deserved the goal which was really well worked. Murphy's goal, did it take a deflection? Great finish otherwise and great build up play from O'Brien. Jennings showed great persistance for the second goal, good header which thankfully the two cream buns couldn't keep out. Must say it was never a penalty, but any dodgy decision you get at Ibrox or Parkhead you take it in open arms, no too many come along our way. Ruddy - Made some great saves to keep us in the game at times. Could have been more than 3. - 7 Hateley - He's been poor for a good few weeks now. Passing was terrible and defending was attrocious. No many players could claim to have been ripped a new arsehole by Kyle Lafferty. - 4 Craigan - Solid at the back. Far better than Wednesday even though we conceded 3. - 7 Saunders - Bit of a shaky one. Not the best performance he's had after being in the middle. - 5 Hammell - Davis will cause anyone problems. - 6 O'Brien - Done really well. Good with the ball at feet and won us a good few free kicks too. - 8 Coke - Not a patch on Wednesday night but still done well in a tough midfield battle - 7 Jennings - Great game. Ran about the middle of the park with ease, spread the ball well plus captured his performance with a goal. - 8 Sutton - Still convinced he should be up top, good work rate yet again from the big man. - 6 McGlinchey - ...... - 5 Juke - Held the ball up well and linked well with Murphy in the 2nd half. - 7 Humphrey - Didn't change much, better off with O'Brien. - 5 Forbes - 2 Murphy - Changed the game when he came on. Good finish for the goal - 7

Watched the full game this morning. Wow. Just wow. Defence was no where, bit of a non existant midfield at times aswell. With Forbes missing that penalty it'll just be another dent in his confidence. He missed one at Accies, and now thats two in a row. Hopefully a good rest and another good pre-season does him the world of good. Ruddy - Was at fault for at least 2 Hibs goals. He'll never be slated like Fraser though. - 5 Saunders - Riordan ripped him a knew one at times. Not the best. - 6 Craigan - Club legend aye, but he still shouldn't be getting away with performances like that. - 5 Reynolds - Pish - 4 Hammell - Commited as usual, 100% effort as usual. Good delivery from set pieces, just his defending let him down. - 6 O'Brien - Great second half - 7 Coke - Up and down the midfield all night. Unlucky for the pass back. - 7 Hateley - Worst game of the season. Bit of a dip in his form recently. Better at right back. - 4 Murphy - Was he playing? - 4 Sutton - Brilliant performance, usual effort involved. Works his socks off everytime. Two great headers to boot. - 8 Lukas - Usual good performance. Great fucking goal. - 8 Humphrey - Done well down the right hand side, still has to improve crossing. - 6 Forbes - Gutted he missed the penalty. - 4 McGlinchey - Why this boy's getting on before McHugh i don't know. The guys gash. - 4

Really pleased for Sutty. Had a great season and never fails to give 100% effort.

4-0 well! Midfield of : Humphrey Coke(if fit) Hateley and Murphy will do me fine. Jutkiewicz starts and i am confident. We will do this. Come on the fucking well!
-
Indeed. He's been our most consistent player for a good while. He goes about his business quietly but effectively. Good enough for me. Don't really think we need an injury prone player at the club who will probably demand around 3.5k a week in wages.

Motherwell 1-0. Sutton to be the goalscorer!
