To be fair, they don't charge very much and our clubs needs as much help in the way of funds as we can give

Sorry to hear this bud., especially when you compare what happened to me at St mirren Park and this. Iwouldn't hold out much hope of complaining to our club tho, as as last week (Monday) I sent an email of appreciation to St Mirren and Motherwell( to let leanne dempster know how well Iwas treated ) and i got a reply from St Mirren within 2 hours but still nothing from our club Good wishes for the future bud.

We're In Line For A Uefa Place Just Now........
Deaddogman replied to mfcsuperwell's topic in Club Chat
As i said in my last post, UEFA have designated a place to Scotland as a Fair play entrant so only the best team in the fair play league not already qualified for Euro comps., will get the place and not the domestic league highest placed club not in Europe -

but UEFA state we ( Scotland) have a Fair Play Place so their rules state it must but the Highest placed team in the Fair Play league not already qualified for European Comps., so as we are (or were) 1st equal with Celtic in the last known table then the place will be ours. -
A wee guess here that School Juvenile will be under 16 and school adult will be over 16

Fair enough Dave, but why go to the bother of publishing the SPL "Fair Play" tables periodically showing team places so far then totally disregard it at the finish . On the latest one we have seen, we are up there on the same points as Celtic ,and as Celtic will already be in the Champions league then we are front runners. Our points total isn't just a card count ( if I remember correctly, we have more yellows/ or reds than some but our points total is superior. As Eufa have stated Scotland has a Fair Play placing in the Europa League so on that basis alone , our "Fair Play" champion will get the place and not the highest placed Team not already in Europe. So as long as we continue with trying to play the best attacking football we can, and show respect towards officials and opponents and our crowds DO NOT do the end of season invasion then we will have the place. -
well me obviously !!! no more having to listen to his records constantly nor having to watch his boring films

Are You Planing To Renew Your Season Ticket ?
Deaddogman replied to East_Stand_Al's topic in Club Chat
My question is slightly different in that my Daughter has turned 16 but she is staying on at school and technically still a school pupil whilst being called a student. She won't have a matric card nor a letter of acceptance so where does she stand in this. For next seaon I'm hoping for to be able to get season tickets . -
Yes remember that well , I was first to tell my girlfriend of the time and she didn't believe (her being Elvis daft) and when it came on the news she threw me out saying it was my fault and never spoke to me again a lucky escape methinks

Ah well maybe your right

he was spotted running round in circles on St Mirren park , but just a fleeting glimpse mind you although i may have just been seeing things

My mother had a major crush on Archie Shaw............she used to tell me that had things worked out Archie Shaw would've been my dad!!!!! ( I must admit to thinking that would've been preferable to having the Jambo one I had )

All season my thoughts about St. Mirren have all been about them going down, but today , I can say nothing about them other than the highest praise that I can.I arrived at the ground early with my two kids, and had to wait around in the pouring rain and needless to say I was soaked through not Ideal for a lung cancer sufferer. I took a bad turn and my kids found a steward who immediately got me first aid attention, I was taken inside , dried off and treated by paramedics and their club doctor, who reported to their administration dept., who offered me a full refund and a taxi home to Edinburgh courtesy of St Mirren F.C. I opted to stay as I didn't want my kids to miss out on the game. They then made sure I was warmly wrapped and seated close to the front where the first Aiders, stewards and police could keep an eye on me and they made sure that was kept warm by supplying me with food and hot drinks throughout the game. I may not like the team that plays on the park but as far as the staff from the gate steward to the administration dept., are concerned I feel nothing but the warmest gratitude towards them all. Well done St. Mirren F.C. and thank you most sincerely. And my sincere thanks to Scott from the East of Scotland Branch of the Supporters club who made sure that I didn't have to make my way home via wet draughty train stations and gave me and my kids a lift home to Edinburgh. Alistair.

I would'nt be averse to switching our last home tie to allow for pitch relaying in time to start if we get the awarded place -
Remember Malpas's last 5............ we were seemingly safe and ended close to being relegated

This indeed was mooted, but Michel Platini, knocked it back stating that this fairytale route is the only chance lower league clubs have and so , they would not sanction such moves -
Edinburgh Evening News last night had a quote From Patawhatsit saying All the pressure is on Motherwell

Born and bred in Edinburgh to a 'Well mum and Jambo dad choices had to be made. when we were old enough my dad took my brother, sister and i to tynecastle quite frequently as well as a few to easter road ( my dads bro was a hibby) and I wasn't impressed ,unlike my siblings who became Jambos. On one of our visits to Motherwell to see my gran my mums brother ,also a 'Well fan said he would take me and my dad to Fir Park for a reserve game, so we went and that was that . I was raving about seeing my team winning 6-2 against East Fife ,my dad kept on about it only being a reserve game and I said "it's not just a reserve game dad, it was my team a Motherwell reserve game" I had to endure several attempts to lure me to the jambos including having to stand/sit on my dads shoulders at Haymarket waiting for "them" to bring the cup through Edinburgh and being bored to tears ................. that was 1955/6 Now 50 odd years later my kids aged 16 and 14 (nearly 15) born and bred in Edinburgh are both staunch 'Well fans , my son (the younger one) is on these boards as 'Wellfan 2k7.....

I'm sure I read somewhere that Michel platini, said that they will not take the Euro place away from the runners up as this is a fairytale route for smaller clubs ,their only ever chance of appearing on the European stage.
