  1. If anyone still fancies a laugh/seethe about Wednesday night, check out the 'accidental' handball decision for Man United's second goal today, complete with a referee overruling VAR.
  2. Sometimes, the stars align, and my gut feeling is, he'll stay. As you say, I think that's the key to convincing a few others to give it another shot.
  3. An amazing day to end an amazing season that, whatever happens now, we'll never forget. Thanks to all the players and staff for taking us on the ride.
  4. How can a decision taken on a clear and obvious error be subjective?
  5. Dunfermline keeper sells the Thistle equaliser.
  6. Absolutely agree with everything you said. And it looks like everyone's going: 2 seats remaining. Edit: Sold out now.
  7. Leaving the corruption angle aside, maybe someone will eventually get round to asking Willy Collum why John Beaton continues to be given so many high profile games, despite repeatedly demonstrating he can't actually referee a football match without VAR being there to 'correct' his mistakes. In our games alone: Pittodrie: missed 2 red cards. Parkhead: missed a penalty and red card. Tonight: missed a penalty. That's assuming VAR got all those decisions correct, of course. If they didn't, that means Beaton is incapable of standing by his own calls and can't tell right from wrong. Either way, he's worse than useless.
  8. Sparrow or Koutroumbis at centre half?
  9. Had a bad feeling about tonight, but the drink's helping. One way or another, I think 4th will be ours by 10(ish).
  10. Is this the first time we're looking at a final day shoot-out between 2 teams going for the title since Rangers v Aberdeen in 1991?
  11. Also, if you have an unfamiliar face sitting next to you.
  12. All 3 games will directly impact one another. Quite exciting.
  13. Yeah. As amusing as Falkirk getting hammered is, it's doing hee haw for our goal difference advantage.
  14. 3 nil to Hibs. Falkirk really hate us.
  15. VAR are still checking that one.
  16. The only consolation is, if Celtic take our players and/or manager, and they're successful, a bigger fish will take them away soon enough. If they're not successful, we already have their money. Listening to them speak, I'm not convinced JBA is a certainty to leave. Just, on the other hand, sounds like a guy who's pretty sure he'll move on in the summer.
  17. 700 more tickets released for the Hibs game, but you have to buy them from the Hibs website. Link on our Facebook page.
  18. I haven't had a season ticket for a good few years because of my job, but I've been to more games this season than I have for a long time. Buying online hasn't been too much of an issue, but it has been a bit wonky at times. I somehow managed to get a ticket for Parkhead before they closed that loophole. Lucky for me, but annoying if you're a ST holder. And I know there's an ongoing problem for folk with linked accounts trying to buy multiple tickets for away games. I picked up our Hearts tickets at the office as soon as they went on sale, along with one for the Celtic game, but I noticed the ST only message on the official site at least a week ago. As you say, a wee message to clarify things surely wouldn't be too difficult, and they should be pulling out all the stops to get people back to Fir Park while the demand is there.
  19. I wondered if that was the case, but it says you can buy them online and there's nothing to say you have to pick up physical tickets at Fir Park, as with Old Firm games. Poor stuff when you're trying to encourage folk to come to games.
  20. Hearts have been bloody awful. They look paralysed by pressure and they've spent those 45 mins blootering the ball as far away from their goal as they can.
  21. Kettlewell confirmed as permanent boss at Ross County.
  22. Be interesting to see what happens today. Doubt there's any 'right' result for us (though the Ibrox meltdown, should they lose, would be highly entertaining). The pressure will be on Hearts next week, whatever happens. A kicking match where they pick up a red card or two and some key game-out injuries would suit us fine, right enough.
  23. The Maswanhise penalty's class. It's like watching dugs trying to operate the Large Hadron Collider, followed by 'They forgot to look at their feet'.
