  1. It's from the Book of Alternative Stats. Same place us beating Gretna's non-existent record for games without a win came from.
  2. There have been failures in Kettlewell's time - Shaw, Wilkinson & Obika - but Van Veen, Biereth & Bair all scored more goals than their previous stats would suggest likely. Just need to hope Vale joins the second group. Every signing for us is a fingers crossed, we can't afford sure things anymore.
  3. How many games did he start for Lincoln City?
  4. I see very little criticism of Vale from their fans when it was announced he was leaving. The negative comments were more along the lines of 'why did we sign him but hardly play him?' Either way, doesn't matter. Different club, players and management now. Be nice if the fans gave him some encouragement, which I'm sure most will.
  5. Is what folk say about you on here true?
  6. Bair's scoring more goals that anyone at our relegation rivals - he's no good. We sign someone who doesn't have a great goalscoring record - he's no good. Our current form is better than the teams below us, funnily enough, but if we did end up in a play-off, who would we face?
  7. Could you clarify, are you speaking as a Motherwell, St Johnstone, Ross County or Livingston fan?
  8. Brophy's a couple of years older and obviously played more games, but he has 46 Premier goals as opposed to Shaw's 16. Definitely been more consistent over the years, although there's the usual question with a couple of spells out injured. Think one was a broken foot, which could obviously happen anytime to anybody we bring in, but more recently a thigh problem. That's the January sales for you, I suppose - if we're even after him....
  9. All Brophy's goals for Killie were in the Premier. Every goal Shaw got for them was in the Championship, and he hadn't scored at all in over a year before coming here.
  10. Yup. Remove the 80s from their history and they're pretty much a run of the mill club, honours wise. It was a spectacular period for them, but it's become a curse for anyone taking on that job.
  11. Not specifically about the Killie game, but that's Robson sacked by Aberdeen.
  12. Far from the worst result I've ever seen, but could well have been the angriest I've ever felt at the end of a game. Probably just put the tin lid on his list of cock-ups for me - obviously did for McLean.
  13. Unfortunately, the record books show McLeish's team finished 2nd and McLean's 3rd. Doesn't begin to tell the real story.
  14. Looks like our striking targets gave us a two word answer anaw.
  15. The only reason you're being 'quizzed' is because you stated he was on 4 fucking grand a week. I think most of us would expect our captain to be one of our highest paid players.
  16. If you don't know who put them there, how could you know how accurate they are? I doubt Giakoumakis was earning €32million at Celtic whle Dhanda was on 17 thousand euros a year at Ross County, but that's what one of the lists claims.
  17. You can easily find out what the salary range is for many jobs, but how would you find out what a specific footballer is earning?
  18. It depends how you define success. Striker wise, we had a 50% hit 50% miss summer (Obika was already here, so Daws surely didn't make the decision to re-sign him). Overall, Dravkovski, Gent & Spencer proved decent signings, Souarè was obviously a mistake.
  19. Might've changed, but the last time I looked on Pie & Bovril there wasn't anything 'definite' and the St Mirren fans didn't seem too fussed either way. They seemed more amused by claret & amber knickers getting in a twist about it.
  20. If a player signing a PCA with another club feels like they've been put in an awkward situation, I suppose there's something they could do about that. I'll be really disappointed if Spittal is off, whether it be to St Mirren or elsewhere. Like any of our players he's hardly irreplaceable, but he's been one of our best players so far and surely a guy we'd be looking to keep if we're hoping for any kind of continuity in the team next season.
  21. The age and name of his kid doesn't involve any investigation. He made a video for Motherwell about the imminent birth, then posted photos of his wee boy on Instagram.
  22. Sorry, I don't follow your logic. Why would challenging for Europe stop Robinson from announcing a pca with Blair Spittal, or anyone else? Hearts have announced Yan Dhanda has signed one with them.
  23. Definitely doesn't. His kid is only a month or two old.
