  1. Yeah, a vote of confidence from the board might as well be the manager's eulogy. He's still there, so I can only assume by not sacking him they're backing him, and when they no longer back him, they'll sack him. Sounds like I'm stating the obvious, but without a public statement or any insider knowledge, what else can you go on? If he makes it to the window, I'd expect them to publicly back him with transfer funds. If they decide to pull the trigger at that point, they should be next out the door.
  2. Dundee United mucked about with their keepers last season. Replaced their first choice, who lost 11 goals in 2 games, with a guy who lost 12 in the next 2. Then brought in another who lost 4 on his debut and was immediately dropped. Without having the first clue how good Oxborough is, no one can be certain dropping Kelly is a wise move.
  3. Yeah, if the team had jacked it, you wouldn't need to think twice, but they obviously haven't.
  4. Yeah, I'm certainly not defending it and as I said elsewhere, saying we should stick with a manager who has overseen such a horrendous run seems, and may well be, ludicrous. The wrong decision now could well lead to relegation. But what's the wrong decision?
  5. I thought Zdravkoski had a cut of Jamie Dolan about him, appearance wise, at least. No way Dundee Utd are selling Moult in January.
  6. Not nit picking, but it's 2 points. Might need that extra one. As for Queen's Park, the guy was fired by the same people who appointed him 6 months ago. If we think our board are amateurs, you'd think a club with Leeann Dempster as CEO and a Director of Football who came from AZ Alkmaar and just left for Ajax would know what they were doing.
  7. In their position, would you rather have the points or the games?
  8. I wouldn't be against Murray, if and when the time comes but like I said, I'm not sure we'd go for/get him (or similar). One thing's for sure, if we want a currently successful manager, he's gonnae come from a lower level.
  9. Alexander survived a similar run, one win being the difference. P13 W1 D5 L7 We then lost the next 2 games before getting the wins against Ross County & Hearts that got us into Europe. Which didn't work out well for him, or us.
  10. If I knew who the next manager was going to be, I might well agree, but I'm not convinced we won't be jumping into the fire if he goes. So, as long as the players continue to show fight (if hee haw else) I'll say stick with him. And I fully realise how ridiculous that sounds after 13 winless games.
  11. The referee clearly forgot his name anaw.
  12. I think it's fair to say we're all scunnered. The way I look at it, whatever happens to Kettlewell will happen, but like MJC said, these late points might just save us in the end.
  13. Sorry you're unhappy we didn't get beat.
  14. 3-2 to us, just because we need it to be.
  15. Elite footballers and professional footballers are not always the same thing. I suppose the guys at the very top of the game don't get booed as much as your bang average player.
  16. Which loan guys? The kids, or Lamie, Tierney and Maguire, who were here when Alexander and Hammell got the chop?
