I believe you're also mentioned in the Book of Revelation.

Assuming he makes it to Wednesday (and that's questionable) surely defeat at home against Killie would see him away. Like you say, given his post match comments yesterday, he's clearly a dead man walking.
-
A lot of Kilmarnock fans were less than complimentary about him when he signed for us. Could be because he left them, but it never happened for him at Barnsley, and his goalscoring record in the last year or so makes Bair look like Erling Haaland. There's still time for him to find some form, but how long can we persist with starting another non scoring striker in the hope he will?
-
Yup. The league's getting tighter and tighter, other than the uglies and the 2 Saints. Winning would be brilliant, but not losing is becoming really important. I'd rather be in our boots tonight than Ross County's, they must be utterly pissed off.
-
Delighted we got a point, given the circumstances, as most folk will be.
-
3-1 to us. As long as our strikers get a couple between them, I don't care which ones.
-
Kettlewell talks about it being a significant injury and the club supporting him - maybe they'll give him some kind of reduced contract till the end of the season.
-
Butcher & Biereth in with a chance of playing on Saturday. Looks like Souaré could well be a write off for the season.
-
Yeah, you can certainly say, if we don't improve, we might be in trouble. However, you could also say, if the teams below us don't improve, we'll be top 6. We're not the only team struggling to score goals and keep clean sheets, but I've faith that'll come right for us.
-
Do you apply the same criteria to club players - anyone not at the very top level isn't good? Having watched Italy tonight, their current team is clearly not at the same level as England. Our lot have struggled badly in the last 3 games, but you couldn't have picked harder European opponents than England, Spain & France right now. I'd say some of the Scotland squad have shown they're good by qualifying, but the top guys are excellent.
-
I would've thought he was better than that. If the entire Scotland squad aren't good international players, god knows where Motherwell players would measure up at club level.
-
What constitutes a good international player?
-
Haven't heard anyone from the club complaining about the red card, so I doubt we'll appeal. I think they still add a game to the ban if an appeal fails. I can't see any contact, but as others have said, Miller didn't contest it at the time and that's probably the best evidence of what happened.
-
There are at least 4 or 5 other teams who have/will have less points than us and an inferior goal difference, once they've all played 8 games. We absolutely need to sort our own deficiencies out, but we don't exist in isolation, and I don't see much that has me panicking. As far as relegation, that's a possibilty for clubs like us every single season.
-
One goal in 8 games is one goal down on almost every other striker in this league right now. I wouldn't have faith any of our options will do better if they're left up front on their own, so Kettlewell either reverts to what brought points previously or tries another combination of forwards.
-
So this failed plan isn't Plan A. That would have been the plan he employed pretty successfully in the first few games before injuries forced a change. A return to that wouldn't suit you if you want Bair dropped. Kettlewell's obviously not trying to lose games and bring pressure on himself. He can see the problem, same as everyone else, so you'd think he'd give Wilkinson and/or Shaw a go from the start. I'd be slightly concerned about why he hasn't done this.
-
Are you saying he's only had one plan all season?
-
The Happy Crappers.
-
Yeah, "If" is a big word. And you're basing your belief that we are in relegation trouble on a huge "If....", because right now, we're not.
-
He's doing well in the Championship.
-
Would a fixation on our results against them not play a part in that? I couldn't give a toss what they think of us. I'm sure both sets of fans are amused by our pathetic inabilty to beat their teams but unlike you, I'm also sure we will win again, and probably when it least suits them. If we want to talk about the minnows' shit records against bigger fish, how about Celtic's no Champions League home win for 10 years. Far worse than our Old Firm record, obviously, since they're convinced they are one of the sharks.
-
Yeah, it's crap. But our league record over that period is better than the 2 teams you mentioned, so you might question what good their wins have really done them. In the whole Hearts discussion a week or two back, did you not say something about us having a fixation on competing with the Old Firm?
-
Fair enough. I thought you were talking about "when it mattered". And no, the fact we beat Rangers twice 8 years ago doesn't console me when we lose to them in the league. But since we've generally finished higher than most of the teams who've occasionally beat them, I'm no raging about it either.
-
I was referring to the 2 play-off wins against Rangers. I think those results were about as big as they come. While we were celebrating those, St Mirren were preparing for 3 seasons in the Championship. Kilmarnock have also been relegated in the intervening years. As much as I'd love us to stick it to the ugly sisters, those games generally don't define how successful your season is, unless it involves winning a cup.
-
8 years ago recent enough for you?
