  1. I get what you're saying regarding his goal scoring record elsewhere, but Lafferty's scored 70 goals in Scotland. How long would Bowman take to rack up that many? And during those seasons Lafferty's played in the top divisions in Turkey and Switzerland, Serie B, the English Premiership and Championship. No wonder he hits a run of goals everytime he washes up in Scotland. Same way Bowman starts hitting the net more often when he moves to League 2.
  2. Depends. If goals for is the next measure, which I believe it is, 9 would be enough.

    Not counting cup games?
  4. If they beat Killie 9 nil they'd both have a -22 goal difference. I think.
  5. Would probably need us to lose or draw on Sunday.
  6. Whatever problems he has to sort out over the summer, however poor we can still look at times, when you think of where we were after the Hamilton New Year game....
  7. He's 2 goals short of Bowman's total for us over 2 and a half seasons. All about levels, and over the years, the SPL would appear to be Lafferty's.
  8. Jesus, O'Hara's gonnae have to jack it in at this rate.
  9. See what happens when you don't fuck about and just fire it into the box.
  10. Yup. You're only aware he's playing when he makes an arse of it.
  11. Playing like a team who know most of them won't be there next season. Unfortunately, they probably will.

Thanks to a tip off from his agent. Or was it the Daily Record?

His Motherwell career consisted of 2 very mixed seasons, 60ish games, no finals, no silverware, and, to be kind, a nondescript captaincy. I doubt this carry on is what's keeping him out the hall of fame. And Glass should scroll a bit further down his Google results before joining the conversation.
  14. Encouraged by Ally Mauchlen.... I find those kinda wages ludicrous, especially at that level. And they complain about the Super League stealing the working man's game.
  15. True, though do you think McAllister had much choice in the matter back then?
  16. Oh, I'm not suggesting I wouldn't like to see us take a wee chance, but if there was no previous association, we'd be saying he's potentially another Eddie Nolan. Which, right now, he is. It would have to be another Phil O'Donnell/James McFadden situation, though he might well be looking for something closer to home.
