  1. I'm optimistic for Wednesday, but in the event we lose, some folk are gonnae need to be realistic. It's a cliche because it's generally true, the table doesn't lie. How good we think we are or how bad our luck's been means nothing if there's no upward movement. Alexander will know this and if any players are in denial about our predicament, they need wised up, sharpish. Wherever our next win comes from, it'll be a surprise. Might as well get started this week.
  2. Where's Max von Sydow when you need him?
  3. Blackpool are interested in Seedorf. They're gonnae play him between the South and Central piers.
  4. Given the circumstances, can't sniff at a draw. But if we don't fancy our chances against Ross County, we really are in deep shite. 2-0 the Well.
  5. I'll be ultra positive. All games are winnable, and other than the Old Firm, nobody's THAT much better than us on any given day. But it's up to the manager and players to change the trajectory of our season, because right now we are a play-off team at best. Decent additions will help, players up for a fight will help (Kelly ticks both boxes), the new manager will hopefully help (though the repeated fiasco at short corners today is concerning) - and getting shot of certain hopeless or gutless wonders will definitely help. Wednesday will be huge, given the psychological effect defeat could inflict.
  6. Haha, this could go on a while. We got a doing off Hamilton, picked up points in the next two, lost today. I doubt Ross County's scudding at Ibrox will help us on Wednesday. They can't possibly be any less confident of winning than we are right now.
  7. Fair enough. I'd suggest there's negativity in the squad that's causing more problems than anyone on here.
  8. I hear you. But bad luck has the same results as poor play. We've gone this far without any sign our luck's gonnae change, so they need to dig themselves out. Get beat on Wednesday and the alarm bells would give Quasimodo a sair heid.
  9. Well in the game, aye. Getting beat, unable to equalise and therefore pointless, aye. At what stage of the season should we begin to have slight concerns?
  10. I've questioned this myself and got no idea who or where from, but we don't just need new players, we desperately need at least one 'inspirational' signing to lift the whole place, cos we reek of the championship. No gonnae happen though.
  11. I can see Smith quickly making a name for himself with our refs cos of his size and style of play, like Nick Cusack.
  12. Penalty coming for that mob. Ref's looking for any opportunity to stick it to us.
  13. If it was, Ferguson should've been off for swinging at Crawford on his way down there.
  14. At least the clowns who need to go are quickly identifying themselves to Alexander, one way or another.
  15. Harmless in their half, dangerous in ours.
  16. Looks like Johnny Hayes? No wonder Jock didnae spot the handball.
  17. The criteria here - and in any possible circumstance - is, professional football does not exist on planet Earth and is therefore not subject to the laws of reality.
  18. Picking up seasoned pros when the Old Firm were done with them served us well, McAdam, Patterson, Russell, Cooper etc. Changed days though, all you'll get off them now are kids or guys who've hung about for years without making the breakthrough. We can't afford any proven guys who aren't ready for the glue factory from teams at our level and loanees from the Premiership or Championship will probably end up in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen, if they even come up here. Unfortunately, just about every signing we make will be 'uninspiring'. You can only hope one or two turn out to be pleasantly surprising.
  19. That's some seriously deranged rambling, Celtic won't even post it. Gone by the end of the week.
