  1. Please dont shoot me down but what about Brown as a player/manager.. hate to say it but can lead from he middle of the park and he is used to getting abuse..
  2. Was that not one of the findings that came out of the Hillsborough Enquiry. Im not comparing the pens at Hillsborough to the lower deck of the south stand, but surely the principal would be the same. Was it not stated that had police or stewards been in a position to stop access to the pen where most of the deaths occured that maybe not as many fans would have walked/ran in and made things more crowded when the inevitable happened. perhaps more robust stewarding at the top of the stairwells would have stopped fans from the upper tier coming down. Bottom line is if something had happened and people had been hurt or killed, then who would get the blame. The club would. Especially when it was evident to everyone not in the stand that you couldnt see the stairs for fans. So how a certain invidual couldnt see that lower deck was definitely overcrowded beats me.
  3. Personally id ban both sets of old firm fans, but i know financially we cant afford to
  4. Have the old firm not got a 5% minimum agreement for away fan allocation agreed with spfl. id be ok with that 13742 at 5% is 867 and stick them in the top tier of the south stand. if 5% is good enough for them then that should be good enough for us to enforce.
  5. Hi mate. Got in no issues at all. Called the ticket office at back of 11 and one of the girls told me that they took the game off the booking system to stop the Celtic fans potentially buying tickets for our stands. She checked and confirmed that all the home games are registered against my name and membership number and that todays game was definitely on it. Presented card at turnstile and the qr code scanned without any issues. Apologies for not coming back on and updating with what i had been told.
  6. Out of the Brendan Rodgers book of excuses when his team get pumped in Europe. Welcome to our world Brendan!! In our case and in the case of every other non old firm club, its so apt
  7. Suppose i was asking too much for our midfielders to actually play for once... agree with the red cards or injuries. both we dont need..
  8. ive got the card but the digital passes also show on my online account (except this one lol) shows my next home game as 9th November v st johnstone. im probably worrying for nothing but it just want explained much when i got the card. thanks for reply
  9. Agreed.. Got to get right into them from the first minute. i know its risky but i think personally we should press as high as possible up the field and dont give them a minutes peace. If we just sit back and let them come onto us then its going to be a very long 90 mins. None of this tippy tappy side to side weve been doing lately. Keep the ball on the deck and keep moving it forward....when we lose the ball, we backtrack and cover.. 100% effort by every man required
  10. Like Grizzlyg suggested im going to give the ticket office a quick call and ask them the same question. I'll post on here what they tell me, as im sure they might get similar calls.
  11. Thanks for replying. I do mate but just thot if they disabled online visibility for the game, it might have somehow temporarily disabled it on the card as well. This is my first season using the season ticket card and previously ive just went up to gate and they scanned the qr code on the card and got in no bother. Sorry for sounding daft but jsut thot id ask the question. Didnt want to queue to get into the ticket office and ask the same question and get the answer youve given me.
  12. I have a season ticket and planning to go to the game via Celtic tomorrow but when logging into my online ticketing account, the game isnt on my list of digital passes. Has anyone experienced this? Does this mean i have to go into the ticket office to find out if my ticket card is still valid or do i just go to gate and get kncoked back?
  13. My mrs and her family sadly support that team from the south side and this morning prior to getting dragged round Breahead, got sidetracked into taking her into the club shop at Ibrox. She got her son their away kit and at least ours is crap but we only have to pay £50 quid. Their top which is just as bad and is £65.. Not going to post a pic of a rangers top on here but there excuse for black and red is the funnels on the ships that sailed into Govan had red on black. Tenuous link at least but they were selling like hotcakes when she was in. I totally agree with all the other posters. Id rather away kit was claret with amber lettering/piping or stripes but im afraid were stuck with the black for this year anyway.
  14. Thanks guys. Ended up parking in the street which runs parallel to the medical centre car park. not bad for getting away. up the hill to the main road and left and along down to asda. thanks for the replies. just wonder why they put them up in the first place. as someone suggested maybe when concerts are on and theyre expecting a lot of people maybe charge for the parking or give some sort of code. ah well glad anyone who was in got out lol.
  15. Hi all.. Been working south for a a while and back up for my first home game for a while. My mate told me that there have been access barriers installed. Whats the script now? is it still acessible?
  16. On that Kerrydale Street theyre saying that the scanner at Ross Hall where they do there medicals was broken and that he had to go down to Manchester to use the scanner down there.
  17. Imagine the scenario. Celtic at Ibrox going into last game of the season. Celtic going for 10 in a row. Equal with rangers on goal difference and points. O-O and minutes to go. Rangers player goes down and ball put into touch. Do you think Celtic would give them the ball back and not take the opportunity to win. Not a fecking chance they wouldnt.. Always the victim
  18. Looking at Tom Aldreds twitter feed, sounds like hes away to.
  19. Seems like then weve given back tickets for B4 and B5 then. Taken from the announcement on the general sale which was put out on the official website on Monday "As per SPFL instructions, tickets will be sold from Area P1 towards P6, Area A1 towards A7 and then Area B1 towards B3". As previous posters have commented, id rather we were getting a share of the gate receipts from a full stadium rather than from a 3/4 full one.
  20. All they would have to do is open the kiosks at the bottom of the Cooper. Stick a few barrels behind the counter or bottles and hopefully cut the queues.
  21. Its going to be that before the game. 41 plus coaches filling edward street, firpark street and knowetop avenue. If they all leave at 1pm ish thats one hell of a convoy heading down airbles road towards the motorway.
  22. Thats good if they on A7 now. Selling 14 sections in 2 days is good going. The fact they released up to A7 means something. Anyway got tickets and bus seats so buzzing for the 26th.
