This is true. As others have pointed out there is very little link up play between the midfield and forwards. We now to bolster the midfield to make us more competitive in there and to give us more width in which to create chances. Whether or not we have the personnel to make it work is another question that needs answering.

Absolutely spot on! We look lethargic on and off the ball, lacking any idea of what we need to do. We have professional footballers who can't control a simple pass to feet. The amount of times the ball bounces off our man and into the possession of the other team is criminal. I never expect us to play like Barca but fs we're difficult to watch. We don't play football, we're turning up hoping the opposition will fuck up and gift us a goal.

We're dredging up this type of performance far too often with a win or two in between papering over the cracks. I don't even feel anger anymore as I've become accustomed to this pish. Not good enough.

Maguire can't possibly be any worse in there. Unfortunately robinson seems hell bent on turning him into a defensive mid. Robinson had his arm forced into putting trust in youth last season and it saved his neck. Maybe it's time to try the same again?

I could understand Tait as he wasn't starting and was likely on a decent wage but Hartley would have given us one more season and his leadership would have been invaluable. Totally agree re. recruitment, it's been nowhere near good enough.

We don't have the quality in the team and the players who are half decent are devoid off confidence because of the dross around them. We're playing essentially with 7 players. Should never have punted Hartley.
