I voted but I hate emails and any sort of form you have to fill in. There might be people who are just happy being silent members unless it's a big thing like the takeover scam.
-
Andrew Wilson as well.
-
It's not even that political. Millions of people have taken the Belfast mural tours, 13 million people voted for Corbyn for PM. It's fairly tame stuff.
-
I'll guess we'll just need to see what happens. Given that he's just been re-elected it doesn't seem to be a problem with a good number of Society members.
-
Most members don't want to be involved in the running of the Society. As long as is there is enough active members for the Society to function then I don't see a problem.
-
The idea that if your on the Well Society board you need to be politically neutral is daft. It's not the fucking BBC or the Royal Family. You should have took a leaf out the Ulster men's book and put up a Loyalist candidate.
-
It's their business model. If they mention the Old Firm it'll get promoted by social media algorithms and push notifications. It's all about clicks and advertising.
-
That's three strong additions to the board as well as Derek staying on. Hopefully the people that missed out will still be able to contribute.
-
I wasn't a fan of Spittal but I will say he was better than nothing. Naismith will no doubt give him a start on Sunday.
-
Strangely the game on Sunday is bigger for Hearts than the Euro tie. There's not much difference financially between the Europa and the Conference and they could possibly make more in the Conference by winning a few games whereas they will get hammered every match in the Europa. Naismith needs a league win far more than the Europa group stage. We also badly need a league win but with our fanbase Kettlewell will probably be able to dine out on a extra time win against Killie reserves for months so there's less pressure on him. Expect another Halliday and O'Donnell masterclass.
-
The level of the early signings is battling against Accies at the bottom of the Championship. Unless we want to make that adjustment we need another two midfielders.
-
Aye seriously. He's signed about 15 players and none of them are that number 10 type.
-
The cost of bringing the player we need will be less than the cost of not having an attacking centre mid. League position, cup runs, Lennon Miller's value, crowds and growing the support will all suffer if we continue with this season's brutal style of play.
-
We'd still need an attacking midfielder as we saw yesterday. Miller, Jack and a Spittal replacement.
-
That's good. Jet lag probably contributed to his muscle injury so it's better if he stays here.
-
That's the best chance we've had of getting to Hampden in a long time. Hopefully we have improved and signed another couple of players before the quarter final.
-
Was Stama there or is he away home?
-
This team isn't winning any cups. Celtic away puts some extra money in the playing budget so wouldn't be the worst outcome.
-
Good to get the win and a goal. The new winger was like having Vini Jr after the Clarkeball we've been subjected to this year.
-
They get 1 for a head injury. And they get another in ET.
-
The club know our support is full of tinks that throw their litter on the park every week so why not have someone out there to pick it up. It looks terrible with the players having to deal with all the shite lying on the park.
-
Stuparevic's goal against Clyde was the last time a Motherwell player scored. We are rank rotten and relying on Halliday, McGinn and O'Donnell to make forward runs. Robinson is Bob McHugh standard and is never a player at this level. We got our business done early though.....
-
I think he's getting the A-League guys off the Temu website that advertises on here.
-
Ryan Jack is better than nothing but if Kettlewell doesn't have the ability to go a bit further afield to find players then it's another reason why we can't afford to keep him as our manager long term.
-
Alexander was planning his exit from the second he signed his contract extension. You just need to look at the contracts he was giving out to players to know he didn't have any intention of hanging around.
