Alexander was planning his exit from the second he signed his contract extension. You just need to look at the contracts he was giving out to players to know he didn't have any intention of hanging around.

We should be looking to sign better players than Paton, Callachan and Nicholson. It's expensive but we are paying the price of employing Kettlewell and Daws. That needs to be sorted at the first opportunity.

Paton has had three bad injuries in three years now. He's made of glass. Callachan is a crock. Nicholson has knee problems. It's not a surprise they are injured. If Andy Halliday ever moves beyond a jog he'll be joining them. The bigger issue is that they are all pish and won't win us games even at full fitness.
