Wilson in midfield was miles better than anything we've seen in there from Sparrow, Halliday and especially Davor. I like Sparrow but he's got a habit of ball watching when defending.

Rangers' results in Europe show they have a decent level of quality in the team but the players don't appear to be able to handle the pressure the fans and media put on them domestically so if we can stop them from scoring early I think they might crack again. I'm more confident now it looks like we won't be starting with SOD and Davor. We just need to hope some sort miracle happens with one of the strikers.

Near the end of the first half we were getting run ragged a bit. We could have done with an experienced head in there. We started the second half a lot better.

Brilliant to win with such a young team. Having legs in the middle of the park rather than Davor mincing about made a huge difference. Seddon looked good at lwb and Wilson was excellent in midfield which gives us options. Casey and Balmer were outstanding.
