Blaney didn't even jump for the ball.
-
Blaney still hopeless at defending.
-
Aye. Looks like a groin injury. Blaney on.
-
Miller to Casey set pieces are unreal.
-
Balmer stroking the ball about like Charles Dunne here.
-
Craig Levien would be embarrassed with our new kick off tactic.
-
Davor and Halliday dropped, hopefully for a while.

The CEO who recommended we accept Barmack's takeover bid and banned young Motherwell fans from the ground without doing any due diligence. I will not be taking his word for anything over what I can see with my eyes.

From my view in the East Stand and photos I've seen from other stands there were not enough gaps in the top tier to explain the overcrowding in the bottom tier.
-
He said at the Q&A he would be contactable by email. No one who was at the game believes the stand wasn't over capacity.
-
In fact I've just got a response from him: "Many thanks for your email and hope you are well. There was no overcrowding on Sunday and no ticketless Celtic fans entered the South Stand due to the measures that were put in place. In fact, the numbers entering the South Stand was well under capacity at the weekend albeit there was some migration from top to bottom tier. We had a ticket cordon at the gates leading down to the turnstiles/stand, so everyone’s tickets were checked. From this we managed to stop around 20 trying to gain entry using old tickets and 30 who didn’t have tickets. Then, at the turnstiles we had additional stewarding deployed at each turnstile (reinforced by Police also) to double check tickets and ensure there were no Celtic fans jumping over without tickets. The migration did cause some issues with Celtic fans on the stairwells however it was decided in conjunction with the Police that to clear the stairs would inflame the situation and be more of a risk to fan and staff safety." If in doubt lie through your teeth.

They are kicking open fire doors and doubling up in turnstiles. The last time we played them the genuises in the GB were greeting about stewards blocking fire exits as if you are entitled to use fire doors when there's no emergency incident happening. Celtic cannot control their fans in their own ground. The only solution to this is ban them for a match and force them to change behaviour if they want to get back in. Caldwell spent a lot of time talking about health and safety and safeguarding as reasons to exclude our fans from the ground so he's not got much room to operate in here. If he's giving Celtic fans preferential treatment to Motherwell fans he's got no future here.

If you look at who starts for the Australian national team in defence then it's obvious he was playing against trash in the A League.
-
Aye the jury is still out but it's not looking great on the evidence. We seemed to have paid good money to sign a guy from a weaker league with no idea how to use him. I get the impression that we believe whatever agents tell us about players we are signing from abroad. Ross McCormack came back from Australia in horrific condition and we still signed him.
-
He's been ineffective apart from one set piece move. He's got a decent awareness compared to Robinson but I haven't seen any attributes that suggest he's going to be a regular goal scorer never mind justify his price tag. He's quite a small guy, no pace and hasn't shown any sort of skill. He might be a good finisher but will he get chances in this league?
-
Hopefully the CEO is going explain when he's going to stop ticketless Celtic fans coming into ground. If the Green Brigade are the ones who are assualting stewards to open the doors then tell Celtic no more tickets for the Green Brigade. If they don't like it no tickets at all. There's not so much big talk from him, PC Plod and alleged SLO when it's not Motherwell supporting children trying to get in the ground.

I don't think the break had anything to do with it. The Steve Clarke wannabe manager decided that pumping long balls forward against Dundee would be a winning strategy. The performance was down him alone. The reality is we have one decent player in midfield and none up front. The opposition know this and can nullify us.
-
The table is beginning to tighten up now so we really need something from this game to keep us ticking over. However the lack of quality in the squad is really starting to be exposed and there's no doubt that Kettlewell will start Davor despite the fact that he's hauled him off early for being useless in so many recent games. Hopefully Kaleta is fit. Looking at our options bringing in Tavares rather than a centre mid on deadline was incredibly stupid. I'd like to hear Kettlewell talk his way around that one. We might need another Q&A soon so that old boy can put another rocket up his arse.
-
Gordon's tackle is identical to the one Greg Taylor put on Spittal 12 months ago that was only a yellow. Gordon is bottom six average anyway. Not a huge miss.
-
Kettlewell, Robinson, McInnes, Gray and Goodwin are all absolute dinosaurs who are playing the percentages that if they keep games tight and play nice with the media they will keep their jobs. The league would be far better without any of them.
-
100%. Halliday and SOD just want to get through the game without getting called out on Sportscene and they know their mate in the dugout will pick them in the next game regardless of the shite they serve up.
-
The lack of midfield options and quality up front killed us today. Our poor transfer business has really crippled us going forward. Other than Miller we have absolutely nothing. Robinson's cameo today was criminal. I said earlier in the thread that I didn't see it with Balmer and he cost us today. If Mugabi was making the kind of errors we' ve seen in the past few games people would be cracking up. Kaleta was the main positive today. Miller should have scored his chances but I actually thought Stama could have turned and finished it himself.
-
Kaleta down and injured and O'Donnell grinning like a Cheshire cat. What a captain.
-
Halliday is useless in a game like this. Hides every time Celtic have the ball. Best result for us now is SOD and Davor punching fuck out each other and missing the semi.
-
A guy that came in and immediately clocked that Celtic get all the marginal decisions and now cheats as much as he can every game.
