i think his form over the last month or so suggests he is fairly happy with how things have worked out and when you consider that he knocked back blackpool last year because of the money they offering him i'm sure his agent made sure he got a good deal from sheffield united. i don't think we've had a full return on jamie's talent but at the same time the club didn't go all out to help him fulfill his potential here. we were never going to get the best out of him playing at left mid and i think his head dropped a few times over the last couple of years while he's been stuck out wide doing donkey work while alan gow, franny jeffers, nicky law, ojamaa and even omar daley started playing off the main striker where he would rather be. he's a far better goalscorer than of those guys but for whatever reason craig brown and mccall didn't give him the chance to score as many as he could and that's why we're only getting a pittance.

i think he deleted it after one of hateley's relatives had a go at him.
-
some diddy called nicholas jeffrey tweeted about hoping hateley dies. i think we can do without that kind of pish.

you can't be too hard on tom for the miss. i don't think anyone else in the team fancied it and it was a decent strike. you would always say go hard and low against big goalies but it was a decent effort. it was an excellent performance with the usual kick in the balls that comes with supporting motherwell at the end. randolph and murphy were superb, lasley had a brilliant second half and fraser kerr dealt with samaras very well and i think he showed he's worth an extension on his loan. i was bit disapointed mccall didn't make any subs before they scored, both teams were struggling from about 70 mins onwards and the game was getting ridiculously stretched. it seemed like our entire team was posted missing at their goal but it wouldn't be like mccall to change anything before we lose a goal, he likes to wait until we're behind. it was sad to see jamie leaving. you could see how much the club means to him and the affection the fans, the manager and his team mates have for him. he was class today and caused celtic plenty of problems, hopefully he keeps this form up in sheffield.

i thought he did well for us in his appearances in 2012. the two aberdeen games, the game at hibs, levante away and ict home were all good performaces. i don't see how ramsden offers any more than page but obviously his face doesn't fit.

we chose to boot rangers out the spl at a cost of £350,000. selling one of our most important players on the cheap is the price of sporting integrity. £100k is sickening when you consider the fees paid for the likes of maguire, jonsson from hearts and the two young lads from falkirk all of whom jamie is streets ahead of.

we played great football without him on wednesday. when he wasn't there it forced everyone else to raise their game rather than just look to move the ball out to the right. he seems to have lost his pace as well. ryan o'leary and lee johnson matched him at points today. he set up a goal but the phrase monkey's and typewriters comes to mind. he was put 1-1 with full back well over a dozen times and we got very little out of it.

i think he meant henriik at left mid. he's been far better at left mid than playing through the middle in the past month or so but i doubt mccall will play him there.
-
hopefully watt comes back from airdrie and gets and opportunity on the left or the right. if humphrey doesn't want to sign a new contract he should be put on ice asap.
-
murphy and randolph were the only two who played for the 90 minutes. going for jamie. some great touches, a good goal and unlucky to have one cleared off the line. you have wonder what he would have done for us over the past couple of seasons had he been played through the middle or on the right rather than being handicapped playing on his weaker side.

First time i've ever posted on my phone during the game. Fair to say i didn't enjoy our performance in the first hour, it was a carbon copy of easter road.
-
Thats 8 or 9 games in a row we've been rotten playing his 4-4-2 and he's changed it to great effect in the past 5 spl games. The question is why continue to start with it? Changing a winning team after our best performance in ages was inexplicable.

Mccall is a moron
-
copy and pasted from stv news. i don't think there is much to interest us there. the only players who strike me as in our price range and not utter shite are iain davidson, darren barr, dylan mcgowan, nick ross, tudor-jones, aaron doran, james dayton, richard brittain and chris millar.

i can see the appeal of that but the bonus of not having to listen to his pish on the radio in the car on the way to and from away games is too great. sportsound appear to have made an editorial decision this season to fill the void in their program left by no old firm rivalry solely with interviews with craig brown and terry butcher. i feel like i've spent the entire season on the A9 listening to them going on about injuries or chippies.
-
i think brown will be gone at the end of the season. it's obvious that milne loosened the purse strings in the summer in the hope that they could challenge for the title and get big crowds. they had their sell out saturday at the beginning of the season and their players were talking about a title challenge in the media but it's same old shite up there despite their large, experienced, well paid squad. fingers crossed for a bottom six finish and broon being sent to the knackers yards.
-
can't see it happening sadly. there will be too much money on offer for him down south and it's possible that we won't even be able to match his current deal never mind offer him improved terms. best case scenario is that he keeps his recent form up, chips in with a few more goals and leaves the club in a strong position with the cash from second place and a europa tie to look forward to.
-
two goals and an assist in the first half = motm
-
we need someone up front who can score goals and contribute to our overall play like mcginn, thompson, griffiths, doyle, daly, russell, sheridan or mckay. when your two of your attackers who start every week have managed 2 goals in almost 50 appearances between the pair of them you are tying one hand behind your back every game. higdon was scoring enough earlier in the season to make up for his failings but he hasn't kicked his own arse in the last month.
-
i'm sure if you asked the players they would rather the moaners continued handing over their cash. i'll be suprised if anyone from last night's 11 is at the club in 3 years time, nevermind ten. getting new players in is easier than getting new fans.
-
we keep on playing him as one though and i don't think he can play anywhere else as he'll never be one to track back or mark a man.
-
we've won two home games. one where ojamaa started on the bench and the other where we only started playing well when higdon and ojamaa were subbed off. we've won 3 games away where murphy started centrally (killie, st johnstone, ict), the hibs game where we were terrible in the hour we spent with those two up front, the united game where we were pish for most of it and under siege the full second half due to the strikers being unable to win/hold the ball. that leaves the win against dundee where ojamaa did come on a make difference playing in tandem with higdon. plenty off effort from henrik no doubt but we already have a winger that can't score goals so we can't afford a striker that doesn't score and won't shoot on his left foot unless you put a gun to his head.
