nope. including higdon. he put a good shift in, plenty of graft.

another great trip. valencia is a cracking city and we also managed to fit in a good night out in alicante and an enjoyable aftenoon in tarragona. i thought every single player done us proud out there. to see such a young team work so hard and hold their own for long periods was amazing. it's a shame humphrey blew the chance at the end as it would have been good to have scored in europe this season. cummins and kerr were extremely impressive again. kerr looks like he has been playing first team football for years and if he keeps this form up he'll no doubt be back at birmingham before long.

the weather forecast says it's to piss down tomorrow.

humphrey is yet to kick a ball for us this season and his substitute appearance on sunday had all his usual signatures: no positional awareness, giving the ball away and gutless. i'd give him to celtic just to get him off the wage bill. £200k for a guy who has played 1 and a half good games in 2012? this time it's us who are bumping celtic.

i saw him arguing with ojaama in motherwell tesco the other day so even although he's a scottish internationalist and our player of the year in his final two seasons we definitely shouldn't sign him ever.

i can't really complain about the result and performance due to the number of games we're playing and the age of the squad. what i'm raging about is watching our players shake hands with goodwin and thompson at the end of the game. they are a pair of cheating pricks and we bend over for them every time. if higdon had done goodwin at the drop ball i'd never have had a bad word to say about him again......

he was a sub once but he came on. against one of the old firm i'm sure.

qualifying for the champions league would be amazing for the benefits the money would bring the club. on a personal level i'd still want the cup though. the atmosphere in daniels and the leccy after winning the st j semi was out of this world. i can't actually imagine what it would be like if we won the cup.

i watched pana on wednesday so my thoughts are maybe coloured a bit by that. they were playing a malaga team who levante beat 3-0 last season and are meant to be much weakened but were by far second best. after they went a goal down they were never in the game and without our mistakes to feast on didn't offer much at all. i mean better as in if they played i think levante would win. how else can you judge teams, a couple of players who can do a few flicks doesn't make a good side. i also think that if we were to keep playing them both until we won a game we would beat pana first.

it's amazing how quickly the queue moves when they let more than one person every ten seconds approach a turnstyle.

if the club have a price in mind for hutchy they will have given his agent the figure and he'll be telling interested parties.
-
randolph hateley hutchy cummins hammell law carswell lasley ZFA murphy mchugh i've more chance of winning the euromillions tonight.

there aren't 4 teams in the spl you can count on to beat ross county nevermind scud the team who finished 6th in la liga! for me they were a better team than pana. not as flashy going forward but a better team and harder to play against. for those saying they were poor they won 2 nil at a canter, should probably have scored more and their keeper didn't make a save. they were a good team playing within themselves. i don't actually think there was much difference between our performance last night and the one at home against pana. in the champions league game i think we were all just impressed that we could keep the ball pretty well against a big european team whereas last night we had already seen that performance and knew it wouldn't work. we were a bit sloppier than usual in some areas but not hugely. the only way we are going to get by a team like that is by doing a walter smith style anti football performance. when they scored their second goal we had 5 men up the park, humphrey and murphy were obvioulsy told not to track back which meant we were going to struggle at the back. in january mccall would only play one up against ict in the league but last night we were pretty much 4-2-4 in a big european game. very strange. cummins was excellent and randolph played well. in the final third higdon was as useless as ever, centrehalfs must love playing against him, and humphrey seems to be compiling a one man football bloopers video this season. i'd say higdon looks even more unfit than last season but your not allowed to point out that he is ripping the piss out of us by taking a wage while out of shape. is there anyone on here who thinks he wouldn't play better if he lost a stone or two?? it's very hard to see us getting anything in spain but at least at two nil you can just about dream of getting a result. regardless of the result it should be a belter of a trip.

you can't make it to fir park very often being a home and away swindon fan.
-
caddis is a ned tadger. pass.
-
you would think he would just be keen to play football, he's only made 145 starts in the 9 years since he left here. he's raked in millions but done very little on the park.
-
what if they are played quietly?
-
if you sign for two months you still can't sign for anyone else until january.
-
i spoke to him once, a nice guy but clearly not the brightest chap. he's a good player though and i think he'll have a decent career. he knows where the goals are and he's strong and fast, best of luck to him.
-
still less than the cost of the home ticket for the champions league first leg
-
what we have to do is pretty simple imo. don't lose any stupid goals and take our chances. we made the tie easy for panathanikos by gifting them goals, they barely had to get out of first gear over the full 180 mins. if they turn up and play us off the park then fair enough. we have to make them work for it though.

i doubt blackman had any say in where he ended up. it would be down to who could pay the most and the fact that brown and knox had links to blackburn. also there is no way sandaza is on £13,000 a week.

has anybody else been tempted by levante at even money?

is it not too late to bring anyone in for these europa matches now anyway? it should be an interesting transfer deadline day out scooping in valencia on the friday. i forsee some wild rumours flying around.
