considering the fact that about the one consistent thing from refs is how they referee higdon perhaps he should consider changing his style and work more on jumping for the ball without clawing at defenders? he's committed 85 fouls which is 30 more than anyone else in the league. pretty much everyone else who has committed more than 40 is a hard tackling centre mid - las, jenno, goodwin, edu, osbourne, aranson. he needs to play within the rules as we are constantly pissing away possesion.
-
all his suspensions so far have been for red cards. this one is for getting 6 yellows.
-
a decent point in the end. we had good possesion but didn't make many chances. henrik had a mare so we only really had humphrey as a creative spark and even though he did ok his final ball was terrible. we could have done with getting width on the left earlier, this was another game where we were crying out for a change at half time. hutchy was immense, page and carswell both looked comfortable and las was very good. if randy got a touch on the shot that hit the bar then it was some save.

i put a score on dundee united to win today! you can tell it's getting tense when your betting on teams soley to try and jinx them.
-
does anyone else get the feeling lennon's upcoming triple charge made them keen to set a more lenient than usual precedent?
-
i think their cheapest adult season ticket is £355 quid which is expensive compared to the rest of the diddies. you could tell he was desperate on the bbc debate a few weeks ago, trying to be as populist as he possibly could. they should be in easily the strongest position out the other 10 but petrie has ran them into the ground with bad decisions.

we did everything except shine the killie players boots at rugby and got a pish performance. we need to focus 100% on our own targets. it will be utterly embarassing if we clap this mob on, especially considering brown's comments after the cup final.

there are plenty of players out there plus we have saunders, page and cummins as options for next season. by my count the guy is lucky he hasn't seen red 4 or 5 times. he got a red against celtic for booting hooper slyly jumping for a header after getting away with doing the same thing to aranson a few weeks before. he chopped danny bujis in the first game against killie for no reason, he two footed a st johnstone player in front of the disabled section recently and he went over the ball on a st mirren player just before half time in the 0-0 there. add in that he should have been off for headbutting whittaker on saturday then 10 minutes later he handled the ball on purpose before almost getting randolph sent off. his mistakes have cost us goals against hibs, rangers and celtic recently and he was very lucky to get away with howlers against st mirren and dunfermline. he's done a decent job for us so far but there is no harm in trying to get someone better in who could be more reliable.

clancy makes too many big errors for me. he reminds me a bit of gunning and brian mclean that he looks a player 90% of the time then does something crazy that costs you the game.
-
i thought he struggled in centre mid in the 4-3 game, he had no idea what to do against big osbourne in the first half. i'd have carswell in with las for bit more dig. there's no chance of him being dropped though. in the 2nd half yesterday he was only running when we had the ball but he still lasted almost the full 90. mccall clearly has his favourites and law is his blue eyed boy.
-
he needs to drop law. he won't.
-
jenno and hammell won't be suspended until easter road. clancy and hutchy both got their 6th yellow at parkhead but were able to play against dunfermline.

read my post in the match thread.
-
the full team played well against hibs and the thread got bumped. this thread is about higdon and he is playing poorly.
-
i'm not the one breaking out personal abuse.
-
he played well against hibs and put the pens away. he was poor against dunfermline and the keeper threw the ball in. the thread got bumped a while ago because he had one good game, i don't think commenting after 5 poor games is overly harsh.
-
belter. what do you know about me? if you want to get personal be a man and do it face to face, i'm not hard to find.
-
an empty xxl jersey again. 1 decent performance in 2012, shocking.
-
what a load of shite. we were crying out for a sub at half time. you could easily have pulled ojaama, law or carswell but mccall thought we were fine. then we goal a goal down and his tactical masterplan is to move law inside and we end up two down then he makes the subs. total pish, i'm struggling to remember when his subs made a positive impact on a match. the favouritism towards nicky law has to stop. he was barely involved last week and was rank today but his place in the team never seems in danger. the same goes with higdon, he did absolutely nothing in their half after being an empty jersey last week and knocking us out the cup the week before. will either of their places been in danger? no chance. murphy doesn't look interested any more but i can't say i blame him. he hasn't had a shot in his favoured position since last summer, is the only one who ever gets dropped and is the first sub. mccall's man management has turned a £750k asset into zero. he came onto today and daley played through the centre! the guy is a joke of a player but he is another one of mccall's favourites which explains the fact he is here next year despite the budget needing to be cut. hutchy and jenno played well first half but were terrible in the 2nd. hammell and humphrey had decent games. there is a lot of work to do to get 3rd place.

i meant semi. it should make for some cracking matches anyway, hopefully sky will focus on the battles for 2nd and europe since their is no title race.
-
the post split fixtures should all be pretty tasty. if celtic beat hearts in the final 6th place will miss out on europe so the three teams below will be battling to avoid that. add in the battle for 2nd and every game should be a significant one.

if the only thing they think of is not talking to sky then i don't think the 10 have much to worry about. -
mccall says a decision is embarassing to the refs face in the tunnel. lennon says a decision is criminal on tv and then to the press later on. guess which one gets hauled up? lunny comes from a family of celtic fans, he could at least try to hide his allegiances. hooper elbows jenno fracturing a bone in his face? ok. mastorovich gets a red with no footage proving it was the wrong decision? rescind it anyway. regan is a terrible administrator and you have to wonder how much influence his good friend lawell had on appoinining vincent. celtic have been getting an incredibly favourable deal from the refs this season. their fouls to booking ratio is off the charts compared to every other team in europe.
