  1. there's as much chance of casagolda scoring a hat trick in the final as there is of getting a pint for £1.40!
  2. they obviously know it was you that slagged them on the telly before the tannadice cup tie. you're lucky big randy, hutchy and sutty didn't ambush you in the ticket office. i think we'll see this team. the 4-5-1 worked the trick the last time at hampden and hateley thrives in the holding role. i think we'll be trying to get the ball to murphy and the humph to run at their fullbacks and if we're not getting any joy from that then franny can come on and give us 35 minutes against tiring centrebacks. -----------randy ross hutchy craggs hammell ---------hateley -----lasley----jenno humphrey----------murphy ----------sutton subs. franny, hollis, saunders, forbes, gunning
  3. he's already beat beckham. craggs shut oot becks, rio, stevie g, lamps, rooney, owen, cashley, carragher and the rest back in 2005.
  4. if it's a motherwell - celtic final how would you do feel about that if he scored 9 by us the next week though? if we do lose and it gets us into europe i won't be disapointed. however i would rather we went and tried to give a good account of ourselves as i think it would stand us in better sted for the final. in the nfl a few years ago the patriots were attempting to become the first team to win all 16 regular season games. in their final game they played the giants who had already qualified for the post season and were expected to rest players but instead the giants played their starters and played hard and ended up narrowly losing. a month later they played the patriots in the superbowl and pulled off one of the greatest upsets of all time. a lot of the giants players and coaches put their win down to gaining confidence from giving 100% in the match everyone thought they lie down in.
  5. chris maguire ahead of murphy and randolph for the ypoty?
  6. we've got three games on the three available saturdays. we should maybe be resting a few players but we need to be giving 100% against celtic no matter what. if we were to lie down you can bet we'd get rode the following week.
  7. so it is. my thread is more sensationalist though. i got the fixtures from pie and bovril. they look kosher to me celtic having killie away three times and united going to ibrox again looked the most likely option.
  8. once again the idiots at strathclyde polis want us to travel to hampden via the m73, m8 and m77. bus routes this is despite it adding a good few miles onto our journey which will add to the petrol costs and time of travel for our fans. this was a stupid idea when we played celtic and an even worse when we are getting shunted round glasgow to accomodate 4000 fans coming from perth. why do the club stand for this pish?
  9. if we in this semi it'll be party time at tynie the following saturday celtic park on the last day is a fixture i thought they would be going out there way to avoid but obviously not.

  11. if rady hadn't made that save from thompson we probably wouldn't know the fixtures until monday at the earliest so this isn't that bad.
  12. i think he has been solid recently. he had great games against rangers at hampden, up at pittodrie and the cup match at tannadice. him and hutchy have looked very solid in the past two matches, it's not time to write him off yet.

    Craig Brown

must be the same guy who phoned up malpas to tell him he was doing a great job after the season tickets on the park st mirren debacle.
  14. craigan this season has started 49 games and made 3 sub appearances. in 21 of those games his team has kept a clean sheet. it's hardly the season of someone who is ready to be put out to pasture. people have been trying to write the guy off ever since gannon gave his critics a wee bit of ammo. i'd like to see him stay one more year and pass the baton fully to hutchy, saunders and page.
  15. i'm confident that there will be enough pished 'well fans to make a good noise.
  16. i hope all their buses break down and it's 100% well fans 7000 well fans will make as good an atmosphere as 20,000. we made a fair old racket at the last three hampden semis and i'm confident we can outsing st johnstone this saturday.
  17. i think craigan will play. gunning had a couple of great games - celtic and the united replay - but also three absolute mares at ibrox, killie and ict plus fucking up for both goals at tannadice. craggs has been very consistent recently and i think he'll get the nod on saturday.
  18. cannae agree with this. there was nothing between the two teams during the borefest in january. in the two fixtures that resembeled football matches we beat them quite easily. we're playing against a side that have only scored 1 goal in their last ten league matches which is relegation form. i wouldn't put it past us to make an arse of it but we are favourites for a reason.
  19. mcdiarmid park is the away ground humphrey has had the most joy at so i'd not be suprised if that's true.
  20. i think she deleted her account not along ago. some set of diddies on her btw.
  21. tom hateley doesn't commit many fouls or get many bookings, i think he'll be fine. tam has played in every game since he joined the club, 93 in a row, it would be sore one for him if he made it to 99 then missed the final (if we get there). hutchy is the one i hope can keep the heid. if gunning is playing he'll be the most likely to pick up a yellow, he's seems like a nutter.
  22. randy, hutchy, gunning, hateley and the humph are all on yellows. not too bad. jenno and las not having to worry is a major boost.
  23. they pretty much had to announce the old firm game early as you could hardly spring it on the polis with only a couple of days notice. i've got a feeling we'll be playing rangers at home on the final day. i think the spl will be doing everything they can to avoid a scenario where a team can qualify for europe by losing their last match which could happen if we get to the final or the 4th place team need rangers to win the league. i wouldn't be suprised if we get both the old firm at fir park and the other teams away.
  24. plus getting the train to haymarket and wandering down dalry road isn't exactly the most torturous of journeys.
  25. we've been top six 3 of the last 4 seasons. city what?!!
