i'd be suprised if they get any foriegn refs. they've been kb'd by all the home nations, eire, iceland, denmark and norway. i can't see any refs from a respected country wanting to be the ones to break the strike and the sfa will be a laughing stock if they bring in albanians or maltese refs. i think this could have been resolved if they hadn't bothered about foriegn refs at all. they were asking other fa's for help before even sitting down with our refs, that can't have went down well.

exactly. the irony and hypocrisy of an organisation who have allowed people to keep their jobs despite doing some henious things calling for dallas to be sacked for that email is unreal.

i think he might have missed up at forfar. i'd still have him hitting one though.

what part of it is stupid? child abuse - cardinal bernard law is wanted in the usa in relation to child abuse. he continues to work in the vatican rather than face justice. holocaust denial - bishop richard williamson was brought back into the church by ratzinger even though he is a renown holocaust denier. genocide - the vatican obstructed justice relating to crimes commited by it's preists and nuns in rwanda. where are the angry emails from peter kearney about this? peter kearney is the same guy who tried to get the hokey cokey banned as it is apparently sectarian, he is a complete clown. why did he email the sfa today and not when the story first broke? did he complain when the image was broadcast on the bbc in the summer? has he complained about any other jokes about the pope - frankie boyle, jimmy carr, patrick keilty ect? where are the emails about that on his website?

in their court case against rangers' fans dundee united stated the costs of staging a match against the h**s was £16,000. you would assume that the costs of staging dundee-motherwell would be less than that figure.

the catholic church weigh in on behalf of celtic. child abuse, genocide and holocaust denial - ok a funny email - string em up peter kearny - get fucked!

tom english, who in my opinion is the only half decent print journo in scotland (probably because he is irish), summed up what celtic wanted quite well. celtic want refs to be afraid of them. if the sfa break the strike then it's a signal to celtic and their fans that the refs have no defence mechanism. if celtic 'win' here the future of scottish football will be broken windows, threatening phone calls, lies and accusations of a sectarian conspiracy every time things aren't going celtic's way. that's why we should all be backing the refs and demanding that our own club takes action to resolve the situation. i also think dallas and mcdonald deserve a bit of credit as it would be easy for them to chuck it but they obviously realise what is at stake here and are willing to stick it out for the benefit of scottish football.

i can't believe that they are still trying to get foreign refs. the message the sfa are sending out is that they don't care about refs in this country, they should be thinking about the ramifications of that at grass roots level rather than focussing on this weekend. if the sfa won't back category one refs when they have been facing abuse and threats what message does that send to guys who are sent out to public parks on their own and have to face up to all sorts of abuse from psychos all over the country. this has came about because mcgeady, hooper, lennon and reid have called refs cheats and dishonest and the sfa have let them away with it. it's shocking they are undermining the refs even further.
-
it's all coming together now. the conspiracy against tommy and celtic are one and the same, the irish bail out is part of it as well. the royal wedding is nothing but an establishment smokescreen. chief stonecutter hugh dallas is behind it all.

blackman hammell hateley casagolda randolph 7 or 8 months ago jenno would have been one of my first picks but playing in midfield for motherwell seems to completely knacker any shooting ability a player posseses.

wee craig is as accurate as ever. the tv money is distributed two ways. a portion of it is evenly divided between the clubs and a portion of it is awarded as prize money dependent on league position. how much tv money you get in the spl has zero to do with how many times you appear on tv or host televised matches. he's got a point about the corporate cash but a midweek gate would probably be similar to a televised sunday. if our club is so worried about the loss of income then what are we doing to resolve the situation?
-
he can't say anything as he's employed by the sfa. he no doubt privately backs the strike but due to his position can't endorse it. it's not really a good idea for anyone who will be involved once this is hopefully sorted to be speaking out publicly which is why dougal and clark are the front men for it. anyone else hear regan on the radio getting questioned about gary hooper? he sounds well out his depth and i don't think he's going to be the man to stand up to the inTIMidation.
-
romanov did but the difference is that the hearts fans had the intelligence to see him for the joker he is and no one took him seriously. celtic fans have a history of attacks on refs and players yet reid and lennon continue to whip them further into frenzy and give the professional agitators the ammunition they need. if the new guy at the sfa has any balls he should sit them down and tell them that mcdonald has been dealth with and the issue is dead.

if they bring foriegn refs this weekend i hope every ref quits.

he didn't blame anyone else. in the lie version he got it wrong and craven corrected him. in the true version he got it wrong and corrected it himself and craven was going to allow the pen to be taken even although he knew it wasn't a foul. the only person who benefited from the lie was craven. i'm no fan of mcdonald but why should he be forced out for telling a lie that had zero consequences. during that game lennon stood on the touchline frothing at the mouth shouting "fucking cheat" and was running about like a maniac. is it any wonder mcdonald wanted to take the easy way out?
-
i don't see the point in decisons being explained. you have to accept that a foul is given because a ref thinks it's a foul. if you go beyond that then you're just causing problems for no reason as the decision on the field is final. you'd also get arseholes trying to catch referees out and trick them into saying the wrong thing to cause controversy. why should dallas go? i also think mcdonald has been dealt with and that should be the end of it, i don't like the guy but he made one error which had zero consequences. was lennon kicked out of celtic for getting juanjo sent off? did reid resign for his lies about no shots fired, wmd's and dishonest expense claims?? did they fuck. celtic said they would ban the anti poppy protesters, what happened? fuck all. where's the honesty there. why should mcdonald be judged by a harsher standard than everyone else? scottish football is full of liars including our own manager. mcdonald and dallas have to be kept in place for reasons more important than either of them. celtic have to be shown that they are only one club and no more important than anyone else, if dallas and mcdonald are removed that will be a signal to them and the psycho's directing their fans online that intimidation works and they'll make life for anyone who doesn't bend over for them. the annoying thing here is that celtic have no power here. the other clubs in the spl could vote 11-1 against them to put tough new rules in place about the conduct of managers and officials. the sfa are the ultimate arbiters of football in this country and can do whatever they want, uefa will back them to the hilt and if celtic tried to go to a civil court they'd end up banned from european competition. there's nothing celtic can do apart from harass individuals via their phuppets in the media and by working their fans into a frenzy. instead of letting celtic away with constant insinuation they should be brought to hampden and ask to state any issues they have about conspiracies or whatever, after that they should be told tha they can abide by the rules or leave.

micheal kelly on newsnight :wank: celtic can't be allowed to win this, if they manage to get mcdonald or dallas sacked our game is fucked.
-
has anyone asked the refs what they actually want? i was thinking today that no refs from other countries would 'cross the picket line' but i forgot how corrupt the welsh fa are. considering they basically let cardiff and swansea away with murder it's no suprise that they'd fuck our refs over for a bit of dough. sueing the sfa is a completely idiotic idea. i don't think uefa would look very kindly on it and if the sfa wanted revenge they could just ban every spl club from europe for 3 years.
-
ideally celtic would be expelled from scottish football but that's not going to happen. it should only be celtic who are boycotted by the refs but if they did that then they'd never hear the end of it from celtic and there would be no chance of ever ending this. idiots like speirs and keevins having been going on about how celtic have the sfa "over a barrel" without saying what celtic could possibly do to them. the bottom line is that there's no games without refs and that the sfa is football in scotland whether people like it or not. i'd like to see our club leading the way, maybe teaming up with st johnstone, hibs, st mirren and killie and trying to sort this out before the weekend. draw up a respect charter and get everyone to agree to it, if anyone refuses to sign up or breaks it then the refs can boycott them.

this is actually beyond belief. reynolds has played about half a dozen games at left back and not been particularly impressive, what gives you a lot of time for him there compared to the 170+ games he's played at centreback? reynolds and craigan have been an excellent partnership for motherwell at a relatively very succesful period in the club's history. our defensive record in 2010 has been superb and we've kept clean sheets in nearly half our games, how the fuck people can criticise reynolds and craggs is completely beyond me. in 22 games this season we've only conceded more than one goal 4 times (hibs x2, denmark, ibrox), that's a great record for any side but for one that playes 4 out and out attackers in every game it's unbelievable. anyone who thinks the defence have let us down this season and that we need mcghee's 6 foot 4 centre half has as much of a grip on reality as that diddy.

fair play to the refs. the last month has been ridiculous and we all know who's to blame. celtic have ruined fitba and something needs to be done. the referee's decision is final and if you cannae accept that then you shouldn't be playing the game. the hassle mcdonald, collum and dallas have had and the abuse lennon gave mclean has been completely unacceptable and something serious should be done about reid and lennon. the other clubs should call a emergency meeting at the sfa and try and push through new guidlines about respecting refs with heavy punishments if you don't, hopefully that would be enough to convince them to put next weeks games on. someone mentioned rugby, did you not see the farce at the end of wales-fiji or are you aware of the elv's and the controversy around the breakdown? refs make mistakes in every league and in every sport even in the nfl where they have replays, a squad of refs and and as much time as they need they still have dodgy calls.

the stewards were dicks the day and the fat guy was out of order but.. if you want to see the full game then it's not hard to make sure you don't get chucked out. the lads in the singing section seem to enjoy a bit of a clash with the stewards and there will always be a couple of unlucky people that get fucked out. i don't like seeing anyone getting chucked out at fir park but when you go away it's their t and c you're agreeing to going in which is nothing to do with us and if you noise up the stewards your running the risk of being fucked out. the boys down the front right gave the team a cracking support today though and big nick clearly appreciated it. the folk sitting behind them greeting about the standing need to get a grip, why sit there to begin with if that bothers you?

the curse of alan gow strikes again. ever since he came into the team we've been getting worse. some might be impressed with a few nice touches and and dribbles but the end result has been hee-haw and the team as whole are suffering. murphy is the future of the club and a far better all round player than the jonah but he gets stuck out wide and pulled early while gow gets to saunter about doing whatever the fuck he wants. it's not a co-incidence that our best performance by miles recently came when gow was out of the team. we've got matchwinners already in blackman, humph and murphy, we don't need a guy who seems to think the full point of us winning possesion is so he can run at 4 defenders. alan gow gtf

so around 4000 for non old firm games which is what we get the now.

any chance of giving an average attendance for that season?
