you can get two kids seasons tickets in the cooper for free if you buy an adult one which is £14.50 per game for an adult and two kids.

i was 7 in 1991 and the only comparison i have is that a pack of polo mints were 10p and now they're 28p. the price of a pint has more than doubled as well has it not? does any know how the average wage of cup winning team compared to the average wage of the OF teams of the day?
-
apparently the algerian trialist we had in the well vs well game has been on trial at rangers. i wonder if we might make him an offer if the h**s tell him to sling his hook.
-
no.

too true. flow needs to fire a bit up on the website with wee broon telling everyone to get on the sauce prematch. whether its a bottle of tonic or a fine malt, a few beers or a couple of litres of poof juice everyone should do their bit and get pissed for victory if we could reproduce the atmosphere from the game at tynecastle the night before hogmanay last year we'd have the danish scared shitless.

good to see benito kemble's still supporting the well!
-
whatever ball we're using in the spl should be at the next world cup, there was half dozen absolutely belting strikes over the weekend.
-
the inverness 1st and 3rd goals were belters. folk would be creaming themselves over them if they were epl or la liga goals.

expect wise words from the old boy

that's the team i'd go for as well. it will also give you scope to switch sutty, murph and blackman around so they can do shifts on the wing which used to work pretty well under mcghee and will give the ob defence different things to think about.
-
-------------randy saunders craigan reynolds hamell -----------lasley hateley humphrey---sutton-------murphy -----------blackman------------- sutton did a good job on djemba djemba in the first leg and blackman's pace and power could cause their old defenders problems. the right back seemed to be marked out as the weak link so i'd get murphy on him in front of the east stand from the get go and try to broadfoot him.

not the best game but a cracking three points. we were miles away from the level we've played at over the past three games but that's understandable considering the circumstances and the changes in the side. blackman and page played well. blackman looked very good and it'll be interesting to see what he can do in a stronger side. page is clearly a cb but did well at rb and looked great in the air and strong in the challenge. casagolda got a decent flick at the goal but other than that did nothing, he looks awfy slow as well. fitzy didn't do much to make me think he's going to earn a new contract and he looks a lot slower than a couple of years ago. kilmarnock were dire. hammell, reynolds and jennings absolutely strolled the game and killie had near enough zero threat going forward. it's going to be a long season for their fans.

my dad was talking to the OB head of security in the congress hotel the morning after the game and the guy said we sold 511 tickets and there was 499 in the stand behind the goals (nae idea what happened to the missing dozen ). a cracking support imo without any need to get the sevull calculator out.
-
if we were to make the group stage there's a chance we might bring in a couple of players which would boost our league campaign and increase our chances of making the top six. imo there's no chance of relegation this season, st mirren and accies are miles behind us.

you live in a strange world. nae season ticket renewal letter. guess i'm not going to get one this year. ewan cameron slates motherwell on the radio. motherwell fan chucks going to fir park.
-
that's just human nature. this board is far busier after a defeat or a bad run than after a run of the mill victory. it's an entertainment show, ewan and roughy play good cop/bad cop and try to wind folk up, you get the exact same thing on talksport. i quite enjoy it sometimes, especially when there is a bit of controversy on the go. nobody is forced to listen to it.
-
randolph saunders craigan reynolds hammell humphrey hateley jennings forbes murphy blackman give lasley and sutton a rest and audition forbes and blackman for the opening in the starting XI on thursday. i'd give blackman a shot on the left as well as up front and forbes on the left and in a 3.

they might be the facts but the way i see it these jokers got a good deal and far more than most people would whose employers suffered the same scenario. karl ready was that overpaid and rotten that i'd still have backed boyle to the hilt if he had paid somebody to kneecap him.
-
wasters like forrest and ready taking the moral high ground doesn't sit well with me. we're supposed to feel sorry for them but in any other line of work they'd have been sacked for incompetence and got fuck all. boyle gets slated left, right and centre in this country but he must have put £13 or £14 million of his own money into motherwell and you never hear him or anyone else ever mention it. eddie thompson got treated like a saint for putting in £5 million and his son never stops going on about it. rangers, hearts, united, killie and aberdeen are all massively in hock to the bank and murray and milne actually make money out the clubs. murray outsources as much of rangers operations (catering, tickets ect) to his own companies and pays himself for the privilige (a la glasgow city council). milne is one of the richest men in scotland but never puts a penny into aberdeen and is going to make a fortune building houses on pittodrie. name another individual that's pumped as much of his own money into scottish football?

i think mio must be a sports reporter for the danish paper i was looking at this morning. they did player ratings out of ten and every one of our players got a 2 or a 4 except reynolds who got a 7. their left back got 10/10
-
all the players that got sacked (and someone needs to tell the press it's eight not 19) got near enough 50% of the money they were due from the remainder of their contracts and they had the opportunity to go and get deals elsewhere (effectively getting double wages for that season). technically it was the administrator and not mfc that sacked them but it's clear there was a good guy/wank element in deciding who had to go. twaddle - he had some decent spells for us but was murder in his final season he was more interested in boozers and bookies than fitba most of the time. he got a deal at hearts so you have to assume he ended up doing well out the situation. martinez - never tried a leg for us and deserved the bullet. it's fair to say things have worked out alright for him. forrest - an imposter of a footballer. his true colours were shown when he juked arbroath to go to raith and it ended up being a wind up. he should be grateful we were ever stupid enough to make him an spl player. ready - shite and on big wages. so stupid that he decided not to play the following season thinking that he'd be more likely to get more money from us, he didn't. i'd have paid him to stop playing in september 2001. strong - the only one i feel almost sorry for as he was a decent player for us and always gave 100%. on the other hand he got over half a million pounds out his time at mfc and tried to act the hardman when he came back with livi so fuck him. dow - a dire player. another one that should just be grateful davies and nevin enjoyed giving large amounts of the club's money to average journeymen. cosgrove - never played a single game for us. brown - was on his way out the door anyway.
-
big rocky's face at 3:38 as the ball flies in the top corner is superb probably just as well the cameras weren't on us when the taps were coming aff
-
you're having a fair old time of it with these tickets. i heard there was a bit of an incident after the game on sunday?
-
was andy walker not actually employed by the club either while we were in administration or shortly after we came out to be a part time specialist strikers coach? the man's a complete bellend anyway.

boyle going mental on sky is what will get us our money. what was the reaction down south when we put out the first statement? F all. what was the reaction down south when the embargo was lifted without us being paid? F all. what kind of coverage did our debt get prior to boyle going on one when bellamy was being linked with them? not a lot. boyle has let everyone know that cardiff are shafting us and forced the cardiff chairman to comment to on the issue live on tv. if cardiff don't pay us the other championship teams that hate them will go mental. boyle has played a blinder here, so what if he looked a bit of a clown it's £175 grand ffs.
