i see saunders wasn't playing, did he get called up for the u21 match?
-
probably best to do it earlier, most airlines have a cut off point. ryanair is either 4 or 6 hours but some are 24 hours. take you're on the cimber flight on the wed?
-
when you check in online before you go you'll be given the option to do it for the return flight as well. so choose that then when you print it off you'll get a seperate page with a bar code on it for each flight. online check in is the baws. it maximises your time in the airport bar.

i got the stansted express on my way back from iceland, think it was about 35 mins. it's definitely do-able but it doesn't leave much breathing space if the bus is delayed on the way down or there's tube lines closed.
-
aye. there's 5 of us booked into the congress, sounds like there could be a good well contingent it looks no bad, definitely a step up from mister beds in nancy and reyjkavik backpackers 8 person dorm.
-
if we do end up playing 50+ games it'll hopefully mean that most of the young players on the fringes of things just now (hutchison, mchugh, page, meechan, pollock, smith, haslam) will get some decent playing time at some point. an ideal season would be europa league group stage, a scottish cup run and cowdenbeath west doing a gretna and taking the pressure off in the league.
-
i dunno about that, when you see a team like holland ruin the world cup final with foul play or teams like united, hearts and hibs and hibs kick their way up the league without any punishment then i don't think it's a bad thing that teams who play the game fairly are rewarded in some way.
-
roy carroll is their keeper, we'd surely be in with a shout just for that fact alone. eric djemba-djemba plays for them as well
-
hearts got pumped off zagreb last year but they're absolutely shite. i'd say we'd have a wee chance against them if we got the home leg first. aberdeen got a result against lokomotiv as well a few years ago.
-
we should give the ref a wee mention as well. i thought the guy was excellent a total contrast to the spanish prick we had last year.
-
i spotted you in the south, what do you expect? i agree the crowd was quiet tonight. unless jenno and craggs start promoting drinking wine before games i can't see what can be done about it though. the best atmoshere last season was both trips to tynecastle. why? because everyone was melted.
-
surely it would be sensible to take the kids somewhere free and cheap when it's warm rather than pay them into the fitba. attendances are higher round xmas than normal as well. summer fitba = shite idea propagated by ignorant people
-
talksport is the radio equivalent of sniffing poppers, a good laugh for a couple of minutes but after that it kills braincells. ignore.
-
if you really feel like that then it might be best to stop attending. perhaps you'd be happier doing a bit of fly fishing or amatuer dramatics?
-
+1 he won more than his fair share in the air and set up two goals. a great way to bounce back from a bad decision last week. good to see craggs and reynolds get so much praise though. mcghee seemed to put about the idea that they were a weak pairing when the truth was the exact opposite, all things considered they've been an exceptional partnership. we were expecting to sell reynolds a month or so ago. it's maybe time to ask now what's the value of keeping him?
-
there's zero chance it'll happen and quite rightly so. the idea that we should just test it and see if it works is mental, half our top teams are millions in debt they don't have any wiggle room. summer fitba would be suicide. right now it's better value to patg if you think you'll miss 4 home games, put the home games up against holidays, festivals, fishing, camping, golf and everything else you can do in the summer that you cannae do in the winter and see how well attendances hold up. right now our season lasts nine and a half months. what would our season be? mid febraury to the end of november? summery as fuck. summer football is up there with league cup sections and an 18 team league as pish spouted by people who just want to go against the status quo without actually thinking of the real effects change might have.
-
100% correct. he's only capable of beating england and spain and getting us our best ever european result.
-
if we can sell out 3 stands for this game then surely it's not difficult to see liverpool or man city selling out the other one to make a potential full house? hopefully this game will be a belter and get a few people back into the habit of going to fir park regularly.
-
jesus, i think someone escaped from fir park corner.
-
roll on tomorrow, i'm heavily bored! it doesn't even look like i'll be able to watch celtic getting pumped out the champions league tonight . it's going to be a nervy night, hopefully we can get an early goal to settle everyone one. tomorrow's definitely a match when legends can be made, if we get through it's our best ever european result by an absolute mile and it'll be a night that lives on beside the semi against hearts and other classics. if we get papped out it just goes in the big box marked 'boot in the baws'. randolph saunders craigan reynolds hammell hateley lasley jennings humphrey murphy sutton prediction: 2 nil to the well, hateley and saunders.

what games then? we had a good support at all the games at tynecaslte, hamilton, perth and dundee. quite a big crowd at killie, 800 or so on the saturday then 1500 on the wednesday at paisley. both games at ibrox were fairly well attended and the nothing each game at parkhead was the biggest crowd we've took there in years. the paedo game also got a good turn out. the games at falkirk and easter road might have been a wee bit lower than 400 but overall last season was probably our best for away supports for a good while.
-
i don't know about that, our away support was quite impressive by our usual standards last year. the only games we dipped under around 400 odd were the 2nd and 3rd games at parkhead, the 2nd game at pittodrie (when it was snowing) and the monday night ICT cup game. there were a lot of good turnouts away from home last season.

agreed. brown's always been a wee bit economical with the truth when it suits him (and that's without mentioning the poison pen). this could all be a ploy to get boyle to loosen the purse strings or a smokescreen to cover the fact that he hasn't identified anyone worth signing yet.
-
as i sad in another thread brown just seems to say whatever suits him that day. "the running costs of the club put it in deficit every year": no it doesn't craigie, we made a loss over one year (june 2008-may2009) due to the cost of the pitch repairs, the increased wages of mcghee and leitch, the increased wage bill with big earners like porter, hughes, malcolm and klimpl, a bottom six finish, repaying some of boyle's loan and the missed setanta payment. every other season since we came out of admin we've made a profit and over the past five years accounts are out for we've made a profit of £120k. as i've said before if the last published accounting period was over 13 months rather than 12 we'd have showed a profit due to the departures of clarkson, quinn, mchgee and leitch. the club themselves said that the next accounts would show a large profit which would neutralise the previous loss. it's clear however that we've not much money just now. is it as bad as brown makes out? if it is then why have we signed the cypriot, a third keeper and kept on young boys who are extremeley unlikely to feature. surely 4 or 5 small wages combined could have got us a player who could make an impact in the spl.

i've bought more than one ticket for each home game and haven't been asked who they're for other than me so the idea of allocating tickets according to who attended the previous euro home games isn't going to work (if we get through).
