  1. that actually makes me more nervous. i'll get a bit of dutch courage into me before the game tonight and i'll be fine. hopefully coke, ruddy and the juke make it, with half the starting XI probably being offski in the summer it makes it seem an even bigger game as it's impossible to tell what kind of shape we'll be in come aug/sep and it could be a while before a big game like this rolls round again. if we get a quick start tonight and and an early goal hibs will fold. hopefully we'll come flying out the blocks.

dundee united are 6 million+ in debt with no sign of it coming down, they've got zero bargaining position.
  3. i'm honestly confused. i thought we had a record four year deal with a supplier then they went into admin, the contract got cancelled and that's why we're now looking for a new supplier. it doesn't really matter what they are/were called, the mob we had a deal with still went tits up.
  4. are we not getting a new supplier because they went bust??
  5. i've never been in amsterdam but my motto in eastern europe and asia is whatever happens happens euro decider on wed night, i'm just glad it's in our own hands
  6. there was a point in the first half where forbes was chasing back full pelt and craigan took ten yards out him with a brisk job. the boy cannot run!
  7. 15 out the 16 guys you sucked off last night are liars. they all love u tho.
  8. poof! biggest cheer of the day from the well fans was obua slicing it in
  9. ruddy played well, especially in the first half, if the salmon teuchtar had been in we'd have been two down by ten minutes. things have worked out well, we could have got a great point today and still ended up behind hibs. the highlight of the day was the sevenways erupting to obua's goal, 30 well fans going loco and ten eastenders looking a bit confused.
  10. lalsey had a better game than stewart on saturday without even putting a pair of boots on. stewart was rank. the guy isn't half the player he thinks he is, gets sent off twice a season every season, was involved in all the dressing room shite at hibs and is so much of a cock he's the only player in british football who's loan spell has ever ended because his teamates leathered him.
  11. exactly the sort of player we don't want. a liability on the pitch and a bad influence in the dressing room.
  12. i'm delighted with this. i think we can read between the lines that gannon told coke and jennings that if they came up they could play one year and get a good move back down south off the back of it and probably used quinn, mccormack and porter as examples. so the fact that jennings has agreed to stay on another year is huge boost. i read some positive quotes from lukas on the bbc website today, he seems to want to stay and it seems to be down to everton. i've got a wee feeling we might end up getting him, it would be a massive boost if we did.
  13. the way we lined up on saturday will be fine for the final 3 games.
  14. that's actually a worse nickname than dairylea.
  15. fair enough. inform me of the matches which humphrey made a valuable contribution this season then? i'd say he played well at celtic park, was not bad at accies at RB but was outjumped for the second goal and looked dangerous but produced zilch both times at perth. he's had more than a few nightmares. nae goals and one assist from a corner from a guy who does nothing but attack and has great pace is a poor return. andy roddie set up more goals than humphrey.
  16. i went up and got my tickets there, row b also there's only 400 for ibrox so i'd get in fast as there's a good chance we'll still be playing for europe and it might be the last chance to see ruddy, the juke and reynolds. for the game i'd think about putting lasley back in if fit and hateley to right back as saunders look a bit bambi on ice when templeton was running at him on saturday and i think mcgeady could give him problems. obviously ruddy comes back in if fit and the only other decision is should we play the juke or wrap him in cotton wool for wednesday, i think i'd be tempted to play it safe. heading to the sevenways as usual prematch, hopefully seeing hearts get the win to give us a wee boost.
  17. humphrey for all his game time this season has produced next to nothing. he's a decent guy to put on if we have a couple of goals of a lead (eg killie home and away) but when's he's started or come on when games are level or we're behind he has contribued nothing.
  18. aberdeen 3-0. great result and day out. a 14 hour shot featuring 4 trains, 3 buses, 3 carry outs, 4 pubs, a restraunt and one get it right up ye to mark mcghee. plus the craigie brown song got started. hearts 3-0. probably the best performance of the season and atmosphere as well, we should get some corrugated iron to bang in the east stand. ended up a bit too steaming and spent far too much money in the western bar but it was a classic away day. rangers 0-0. a brilliant performance. we totally outclassed the h**s in every department, it was just a shame we couldn't take our chances. i would have bet everything i owned on o'brien not scoring that pen. the trips to llanelli, bucharest and aberdeen the first time were amazing as well but the games were a bit of a let down. winning after 70 days without a win down at killie was great as well, as was the pumping of hearts a month or so ago.
  19. pretty disapointed by this, darren made some important contributions before he had an iffy start to 08/09 and he has barely had a chance since then. if you gave me the choice between him and humphrey for next season i'd choose smith in a heartbeat. good luck to dazza if he leaves.
  20. they'll be on the database. better luck next time
  21. i was thinking about this yesterday. i'm sure the trophy won't be presented until the final day even if it is won on sunday. i'd like to see the club making a statement saying season ticket holders and those on the database only for this game. it's the least they owe us after fucking over the home fans on skippy sunday.
  22. gannon's approach strikes me as much more organised and professional and probably didn't rely on old pals or combining scouting with a holiday.
  23. what are you talking about!? anyone would be mental to quit being a professional footballer because they don't like the position their getting played in. i'd guarantee that cousin mentioned earlier juked accies because he thought he could get a game elsewhere in his preferred role and was proved wrong. the idea that anyone would think i don't like playing this position for 90 minutes a week, i'll go and get a job in the real world where i won't get paid a fortune to piss about with mates, work out, play fitba, have birds on tap and only be in work for 15-20 hours a week is insane.
  24. not really. obviously gannon had an advantage of his knowledge of the english leagues but brown and knox have been working in england in different capacities as well and should have contacts down there as well. all the players we've been linked with so far reminds me of malpas signing keegan and molloy for the sole reason that they had the same agent as danny murphy.
  25. the st mirren game was disapointing but i think the win against hearts vinidicated it. the two games against united have been incredibly unlucky. we lost 6 goals from 9 shots and i think in both games we were outplaying them and making more chances before we self destructed. in both games we had bad decisions with the offside goal and the pen which would have made a difference. the falkirk game was shite and celtic was close but no cigar which is just par for the course of being a well fan. brown and knox's big test will come in the summer. so far we've signed mcglinchey and been linked with moore and pellegrino all of whom knox would have heard about on his oz trip. we've also been linked with a ugandan more than likely reccomended by bobby williamson and two americans that have came on our radar while talking to everton about the juke and ruddy. so far so uninspiring (and malpasesque). they've got to prove they can go out and find a few players rather than just mopping up scraps passed their way. i was also disapointed that mchugh or even smith didn't get on as a third sub at the weekend. brown has played a lot of young players but they all had 10+ starts under their belt, will he show the same faith in mchugh, pollock, meechan, page, haslam, quinn ect when the time comes.
