so i take it we won't be hearing from you again for the next 7 months. cheerio.
-
his mistakes get highlighted because he's on the ball so much. coke, saunders and hateley look for him every time. we don't have many players that want to get in front of the ball so i'll always take a guy who is always looking for the ball and to drive forward when he gets it. he was up the park for the second goal today but he was where he was meant to be, gannon clearly wants him to push forward at every opportunity.

i'm just saying i wouldn't be suprised. a boy that works for the health board told me there's folk pulling a scam where they smoke 40 fags then go into chemists and take a carbon monoxide breath test then get hunners of nicotine patches for free cause of the free perscriptions then they're firing them on ebay and selling them for 50% of the retail price. nothing would suprise me these days. if the wean needs a xmas present or you need a new pair of oakleys for afghanistan a season ticket on ebay could cover that.
-
aye but it might be like that story in the record the day with the regiment that ran up massive phone bills in afghanistan and then juked the bills and put the phone company out of business.

tom hateley has been good but gomis, bauben and robertson have been impresive for a good while and are the players that worry me in the united team. coke and forbes both have questions marks next to them giles about his concentration/consistency and forbes whether or not he can handle the physical demands of the spl. my team for saturday ruddy yass saunders reynolds hammell coke jennings hateley o'brien murphy lukas o'brien has terrorised kovacevic and dillon this year so i'd have him back in. jennings if fit can add the bite in midfield we missed when aberdeen came back into the game on saturday, if he's not lasley. sutton's not scoring and the big united defenders would rather see him than murphy so get jamie up against the big diddys

how often can a soldier actually get to fir park? maybe some cheap season tickets heading to ebay?
-
if you change the subject of your dissertation to 'the steamer's experience' and throw in some kitty money i think you'll get a better response
-
not really. i flicked through the thread and it's mainly you, joeboy and jay (who all sit together?) and mitch. plus gav212 who has a bolton season ticket and gazzy who has only seen him three times. there are about a dozen posters who speak up for him so it doesnae matter how may times you say he's shite or on how many threads you're still in a minority. it also doesn't matter because as long as he's fit he'll be in the team. it's also not true that he can't cross - he crossed for the winner against hearts and what should have been a goal against rangers. he's also shown he can defend against celtic, dundee united and hearts. did we lose a goal against hearts? no. did they have any chances in the last 20 minutes? not that i can i remember. if you want to see bad defending against driver check out the game at tynecastle in march.

emergency? it must be defcon 1.

i don't dislike him i just don't think he's perfect like some other folk seem to. he's doing all the things you'd expect to be the most difficult parts of a being a manager really well but constant tinkering with the side is getting a bit annoying. we've got good players (because of him), they're well prepared (because of him) i don't see why he just can't let them go out and try to win the game themselves. we've got a situation where he's fell out the press over something fairly run of the mill. he's then made some controversial comments in his programme notes which sky have asked him to elaborate on (name names) and now he's not talking to them. traynor's obviously spotted that he's a bit volatile now he's trying noise him up. he's not here to put scottish football to rights or joust with the media he's here to put a team out to win games (we've won 1 of our last 6). also is there a legal requirement to tack on the phrase "if somebody had said to you after the llannelli game...." every time anybody discusses motherwell? when exactly are we suppossed to stop being grateful for not being falkirk and get back to normal. the team got booed off the park six weeks after phil's death yet it's taboo to point out how we can maybe improve just now.
-
he said "centre forwards" and miller fucked up an open goal in the last game at hampden. what's the point in moaning about how the press misrepresented him a few weeks ago and then giving them exactly what they need (again) to allow them to stir up more trouble. traynor's just a troublemaker and you can guarantee he'll be dieing to see if gannon responds so he can spin a bit more out of this story.
-
to be fair though he was blowing out his arse in the last 20 minutes against steaua, in perth and at aberdeen. his fitness is pish.
-
is the balmoral reopened yet?
-
traynor has clearly spotted gannon is a bit volatile and is hoping that he'll take the bait and retaliate which will fill some column inches and airtime. hopefully gannon is smart enough to ignore him. i don't see why he needs to slate scotland players and scottish fitba though. if miller ends up scoring against us on the 19th of december he'll look like a dick.

was nobody else at celtic park? he had a great game and totally shut down mcgeady, he also did well against driver so he's played well against the two best leftside attackers in the country. i thought he was doing well in the first half on saturday in tamdem with coke but struggled when murphy was playing in front of him. if he was as much a bombscare as people are saying we'd have lost more goals down his side. apart from the hibs game when he was caught up the park (which is clearly the tactics) there haven't been any goals down his side. humphrey ball watched for accies second a couple of weeks ago and saunders got the c**t ripped out him in bucharest so i wouldn't say they're definitely better options.
-
i don't know about that. i've seen them knock us out the scottish cup twice, the league cup once, kill our title challenge in 94 and beat us in a relegation decider at fir park in 2003. the only important game since the cup final i can think of where we won was the one where goodman scored a double at tannadice in 2000. they're definitely beatable but we need to cut out all the nonsense we've seen recently and get back to basics.
-
flamutari and llanelli were pub teams and we got a chasing for most of the steaua tie. we played well against killie and rangers i don't think we've played badly but today and a fortnight ago we were 10xs better than we were at pittodrie, love street, tannadice or against falkirk at fir park.
-
by this point in mcghee's first season we had scored seven goals from outside the box. this season we've scored two.
-
when have we played flowing football?
-
we've lost two goals from corners in 14 domestic games. that seems a decent ratio to me.
-
it's not a dip in form at all. the last two games we've made more chances than we did in the first seven.
-
you're 100% right. however we have (due to gannon, our superior youth system and the legacy of clarky and quinn) much better players than accies and falkirk. our last two games we've performed much lower than our potential. questions must be asked.
-
i don't believe that. the guy has played every game he has been available for and he's played every match the exact same way.
-
he seems to believe that he can have more effect than is possible. i watch a lot of footballl, international, european, premier league and domestic and i've never seen a boss so keen to micromanage. the last two games we've been well on top but he's switched things around which has ended up hurting us.
-
so yassin runs amok against gannon's orders but still plays whenever he's fit but... murphy gives the ball away three times in a row at parkhead and he's subbed o'brien chops down a hibs player which leads to a goal and he's subbed craigan plays three bad balls in perth which gets him the big hook if there was anybody in this team breaking orders their number would be straight up
