Cheers. I missed that last October when I was housebound for a while. Good news it was a crazy idea that would have ruined half the town.
-
Stama called up for Australia. They play China in Adelaide then away to Japan I can't see him starting against Dundee after that.
-
We make a lot of money off that top tier.

It's hard to take of any the council proposals seriously when the only concrete plan that is actually happening is turning Airbles Road into a bypass for HGVs. They used Ravenscraig as an excuse to run down Motherwell town centre, being cynical i'd say any plans for new amenities are basically deflection from the reality that they are going to run 1000 lorries a day in and out of the new rail freight hub.

Hearts got a winner. Incredible that they managed a win in Europe while being held back by the other teams in the league.
-
Spittal playing and now getting beat for Hearts in Azerbaijan against Dinamo Minsk. The best bit of entertainment has been Michael Stewart going on a long rant saying Hearts should approach Derek McInnes about the manager's job despite that being against SFA rules.
-
Moses and Robinson together didn't work against St Mirren. I would guess he will go back to Robinson up top by himself and bring Maswanhise back in.

I've been going on about our goals from open play but Hibs have only scored 1 open play in their 6 matches. They've scored four from set pieces the same as us and also haven't conceded any from set pieces. Balmer will obviously be in for Casey but it's harder to say who will be in for Moses. SOD sold the first goal and lost his man at their penalty on Saturday so we have to be getting close to bringing in Kaleta from the start.

Ravenscraig has been a white elephant for 25 years now. Fir Park is our home, the goal should be a new main stand.

Miller and Wilson are both in the u21 squad. Doig is back in the squad so Wilson probably won't start. It's impossible to predict what kind of team Gemmill will pick but it would be good to see Miller, Barron and Cameron as the starting midfield. If they win both games they should be straight into the finals. If they draw with Belgium and win in Kazakhstan it'll be a playoff.

It was announced he was leaving before his final game against Rangers. I'm sure he lead the team out because he was leaving.
-
There's no way he was going to be allowed to continue so it was probably wise to withdraw with a bit of dignity. He's obviously fucked that.

There's two crazy things about bleating about 'the interests of the 29%'. (I) Dickie was pushing a proposal that would dilute their shareholdings hurting their interests. (II) 'The 29%' gave him the same GTF as the Well Society members.
-
The '29%' thing is nonsense. There is no 29% shareholding bloc and trying to portrary the existence of individual shareholders as a justification for his sense of entitlement is mental when he was specifically on the board as a Well Society representative.
-
There's some incredible stuff in there. His interpretation of the role of the Well Society in appointing him to the club board is baffling.
-
They're both within a yard of the player hitting the shot so i'd say a red card is harsh.

That's exactly what Souttar just did.
-
Neil McCann was adamant it was a red for Casey on Sportscene last night but on the commentary for this game didn't even mention that it could be a potential card. Last night Alistair Johnston blatantly handled it in the box at 0-0 and they just laughed it off. Collum's new rules obviously include giving the Old Firm even more advantages.

They are playing Hibs right now.

I don't think playing more football will risk us losing more games. The Aberdeen game and to a lesser extent the St Johnstone and Dundee United game showed that we looked a lot better when we were actually trying to play some football. Our good start is pretty much down to Oxborough and Halliday and Miller's set pieces. In the league we are +6 goals if you just count set pieces, penalties and own goals. In the cup the same stat is +5. We haven't conceded a goal from a set piece in the first 12 games of the season which is a huge turnaround from the shambles last year. We probably won't continue like this but at the same time we can easily get better from open play.
-
In exactly the same situation John Souttar wasn't even booked. Get the appeal in!

It's not the 1990s. You can't carry a player who contributes so little on the ball these days and if you are also playing 5 defenders as well it'll end up where we are with average possession in the 30s.
-
Part of the reason why we can't retain possession is because he's barely involved in the final third which isn't good enough when we are playing with a back 5 and neither of the wingbacks are particularly attacking. It's like playing with 10 men which puts more pressure on everyone else. The best example of this was Livi away last season when we were pathetic first half then as soon as he went off we ran over the top of them.
-
None of our midfielders or forwards are good at retaining possession. Our average pass streak (how many passes we play before losing possession) is three. St Johnstone, Hearts, Aberdeen and St Mirren all averaged five against us. Over the 6 league games we have averaged 38% possession which is the worst in the league. We are performing well in both boxes but it's obvious we need to improve our play in the middle of the park.
