I think you are making some fair points about wanting to see a good performance but when the first line of the post is totally defeatist it suggests a certain mindset. To move it away from Motherwell there are still people making excuses for Steve Clarke despite all the defeats this year. I think this attitude from the fans actually hurts our teams because when a Scottish manager knows that a draw or narrow defeat is acceptable they will play for that result and it becomes a downward cycle. Aberdeen have started well but aren't a juggernaut. We should be aiming for a clean sheet today as a bear minimum and see what we can do at the other end.
