We persist with the players in the starting 11 because there really is no other option. Stick on a youngster? I'd rather have the experience of Craigan at the business end of the season as opposed to an untried and untested 18 year old being thrown into the lions den at Ibrox.
McCall is still relatively new to the job but his (Maybe Boyle's for not releasing more funds) major failing has been not replacing the players we have lost in january with similar or better quality. Our squad is threadbare and sadly I see a horrible end to the season, with the potential for being dragged into a relegation dogfight.
Here here. Give Casagolda a chance ffs. Tonight has been his first real opportunity to get minutes under his belt but I think he'll come good. No need to chastice him yet- Murphy's performance was FAR worse than Casagolda's.
Fair dooz, I appreciate the sentiment but remember, if Motherwell FC vote for this then they lose all credibility- you can't just blame the SPL/SFA if MFC are party to making this proposal reality.
Well, if something could be arranged whereby a number of fans from every SPL club descended to Hampden wearing their club colours, that would send a strong message.
I'm glad so many are opposed to this idea.
Talk is all very well and good but we need to do something. A boycott/protest outside Fir Park would be a start.....
Boycott Fir Park this weekend.
Fuck this sense of loyalty. It's exactly this feeling which Chairmen are taking advantage of. They assume fans will follow like sheep regardless of whatever set-up the league takes. They are taking us for a ride, but we're not mugs. We are being ignored but we CAN do something about it, it's just a case of the fans standing up for ourselves and showing the fat cats that it's OUR game, and that we wont simply go along with any decision which they deem to be in the interests of our club.
If all they care about is money, let's hit them where it hurts. The ball is in our court.
If, and thats a very big if, Jennings was involved, I hope we do the right thing and get rid.
If, on the other hand, the ref was in on it.... aye, it could mean potentially the abandonment of the season.
I think you're missing the point. Refs have been pummelled for wrong decisions ever since the game began. What is getting them is the inference of bias against Celtic; calling into question their integrity.
