  1. Absolutely brilliant result which may prove crucial in securing our top 6 status. You can never argue with 3 points against Hibs, despite the fact they were very poor today, but we weren't all that great ourselves. As for the red card incident? Definate red, could have broke a leg. Jim O'Brien had a hostile reaction- no wonder, but he certainly did not retaliate.
  2. You are completley missing the point.
  3. All of these things happen without alcohol being sold at matches? It would be a difficult thing to organise but I see no reason why not.
  4. We've had this thread already, but Motherwell every time for me.
  5. To be fair we have a high proportion of eejits/slavver merchants in our support. The bald guy that was frothing at the mouth when Papac was taking a shy

    Offside Goal

Maybe the linesman didn't cheat. However, if he is a Rangers fan, then you would be naive to dimiss the fact that there may be latent bias lurking. All very well being 'moral' about things and assuming referee's are only doing their job and have the interests of a fair match at heart- but they are human after all and favouring of certain teams is entirely possible. In every job in every walk of life people behave in different ways towards different people because of their perceptions and judgments; the assumption that referee's are any different is a fallacy. It may not be possible to prove that the linesman is a raging h*n and thats what influenced his decision (yet), however I think there is cheating in high places in Scottish football and to retain this blindly optimistic view of our officials is counterproductive. (Although they have a different culture- see Italy) The fact the linesman had a clear view of the incident with absolutely no obstructions raises suspicions about what he saw and why the goal wasn't given. You need to be 100% sure to disallow a goal, and there was nothing which would give him reasonable doubt that it wasn't onside.

    Reynolds

Reynolds was as good as many other players last night, yet a moment of madness cost us. To say he is murder is way off the mark. In the past couple of months I actually think Reynolds has been one of our better players. I wouldn't let a, albeit awful, split-second decision cloud our judgment that he is a very good defender. If he's not up to it... what are we expecting in a Motherwell defender. Standards maybe a bit high?
  8. Absolutely raging. I've never left a match having taken something from the Old Firm feeling so empty. Fuck Rangers, fuck the establishment and fuck the cartel.
  9. Of course they *can* play on it. Difference is, mud and bare pitches aren't conducive to good football. I think it's getting to the stage where the pitch determines tactics.

    Pies

Well, evidently pies aren't healthy. I'd rather not drown in grease though! Best Pie I've had is from a place called the Pie Maker in Edinburgh.

    Pies

Last time I had a pie at Fir Park I took a bite and there was a shower of grease which almost soaked the entire East Stand. Absolutely humming.
  12. Yep. It's not fit for purpose. Looks like Rabbits have been burrowing there. Or is it those pesky vegetarian foxes? It's an absolute riot and it looks like it's beyond repair as long as we're at Fir Park.
  13. Awful game, awful ref, and the pitch was even worse. It's in an absolutely shocking state. Good result though!

    Aberdeen

Just watched the highlights and it looks like 3-0 flattered us. Still, two great poaches from Sutton, can't really tell whether Juke's went over the line or not. Jim O'Brien had an absolute stormer though. Ripped their defence apart.

    Falkirk

The problem is your opinion is not objective if you weren't able to witness the game first hand. Yer not there- don't vote.

    Falkirk

Point in voting if you weren't at the match?
  17. One point, given the fact we had 10 men- good result.
  18. As much as the Juke is an excellent player for a club our size, I'd have to say Ruddy. He's a fantastic goalkeeper who inspires confidence and has won us more points this season than Juke IMO.
  19. Pitch would have gotten away with it on saturday too, if it wasn't for that pesky micro-climate!
  20. This all sounds like deflection. The weather? Well the whole of scotland has been the same! I haven't seen what the other SPL pitches were like today but I bet none of them were anywhere near as bad as ours. Face it, the pitch isn't very good.
