Fair point netherton. It was taking into account the two games, not just yesterday; the way in which Brown is handling himself, the much improved atmosphere and team spirit was the reason for the thread. Also, I admitted I was not particularly in favour of the Brown/Knox interim appointment. Agree with that. Exactly. Let's be honest, top managers are not going to be lining up to come to Fir Park, why would they? Right now we have men with vast experience and pretty good records.

I too was impressed by Gannon at the beginning, although to be honest I had never heard of the guy. That's all history now and Brown has been smartly impressive. O'Brien had a fabulous game today and should get a lot of well deserved credit, whether he stays or goes is not a huge issue in the big scheme of things.

I will admit that I was a bit skeptical about the partnership of Brown and Knox and whether they were good enough. I realize one result does not a manager make but after today's performance and after-match speech I will now say that I am absolutely impressed and would like to see Brown in permanent charge of the team. He seems to bring confidence to the players and I don't think we need to look any further.

It is a long way but that's the awesome thing about technology these days. We have snow on the ground continuously from November through March, but the roads are clear which is great.
