Said was being penalised almost every time he made a tackle. The one he was booked for was a joke as well. Devlin literally fell onto the ball with minimal or no contact. When the same thing happened to Fadinger the free kick went to Hearts. You just need to watch the Falkirk game today to see how dodgy/controversial decisions change games.
Of course it’s not all referees but when you have game changing decisions at Ibrox, Celtic Park, 2 games against Falkirk and one today against Hearts together with all of the other soft free kicks etc that record could look a lot different.
You can complain about referees because there have been potential game changing decisions that have gone against us against Falkirk twice, Hearts and Celtic.
Getting to the point that there’s no point turning up for games. The opposition are getting everything from referees. The last 2 free kicks given against Said were an absolute joke as well.
I know there have been retrospective bans given out previously for diving to win penalties and violent conduct but has there ever been one handed out for feigning injury? I genuinely can’t think of any and I’ve seen plenty of incidents where players go down holding their head/face when there’s been zero contact there.
You’re entitled to your opinion but 6 points and 13 goals ahead of 5th place suggests that it’s a bit more than 50/50. Anything is possible but 50/50 is ridiculous.
Doubt their tickets for next season will be on sale yet so they’d be selling them based on 1 game against their rivals rather than 2. That would probably affect their ST sales so could have financial implications.
The game was also slowed by McLean allowing Rangers players to walk off in slow motion when they were substituted. All very well saying he’ll add time on but it killed the momentum of the game. Same with Rangers free kicks and goal kicks, they were allowed to take ridiculous amounts of time with barely any acknowledgement from McLean.
