Knowing that the list of applicants has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not somebody is qualified for a job doesn't really make me an oracle.

His CV was pretty much there for all to see before he got the job. What would the list of applicants have to do with anything? You seem to be very ignorant of how these things work....

This is no slight on the job he's doing but if he wasn't a fan he wouldn't be doing the job as he wouldn't have had the qualifications or experience to apply. How he's done since he got the job is up for debate.

How long have Archibald and Hartley had to build their squads?

He's getting paid as a squad player the same as all the other guys who don't start games. Would you rather we just had 11 players?

How much is he getting and who could we get for that wage?

I appreciate that McGhee's made some dodgy selections and substitutions but should he not at least be allowed to bring in a few of his own players before being told to F off? McGhee's big on being able to trust his players and from the last week it doesn't look as if there's too many there that he can trust to perform for 90 minutes.

Disappointing to hear we were close to getting him on a permanent deal only to lose out at the last minute. Hopefully we can get somebody else in pretty quickly.

Baraclough didn't exactly improve the team despite having money to spend so I don't think he simply under-estimated how shite the team was. Despite all his claims about what he was going to do, he was a poor manager.

Judging by what he said in the post match interviews he has no intention of going anywhere. He feels he's still the right man for the job, players are happy with how they're being treated and the work he's doing, angry words exchanged in the dressing room, some players on their last chance.... blah blah blah. Nothing he says ever has any substance, it's all cliche laden crap. I've yet to hear him say anything insightful or show any hint of knowledge about football. The players, media, and plenty on here saw through him from the start and it's time for the board to act before more damage is done.

Hardly a knee-jerk reaction. He's been woeful since the very beginning. If he has any pride at all he'll walk.

Crowds will fall and Well Society sign-ups will stall IMO. At one of the most critical times in the club's history we're amateur on and off the park.

I think it was £22 last time as well. More to do with the product than the price IMO.

On the Alba interview he downgraded the "chances" to "situations". I think that's one pass short of a "chance". He's the biggest chancer out there so he knows what he's talking about. For those who want him to be given the time, can you please give some positive reasons for it?
