  1. Derek Rae said "I know Scottish teams are watching (him)" and Craigan replied "we certainly are". There may be something in it as they've mentioned him and his potential a few times.
  2. Kieran Kennedy "A Manchester City youth product, Kennedy is a gritty centre half blessed with an outstanding ability to read the game from defence. The youngster has also appeared at right back on occasions for the Development Squad. On top of his defensive qualities, Kennedy is a threat from set pieces, with a couple of key goals to his name for City during the 2013/14 campaign".
  3. They played together at Scunthorpe so that part is true. Hopefully the rest is pish though as he doesn't exactly fit the "young player we can develop and sell for a profit" mould.
  4. I imagine Erwin will want to get away from here now as he'll undoubtedly get hassle from the orcs if he stays.

    Baraclough Out

Wasn't a fan of Baraclough but he's definitely earned some respect from me for his performance in the play-offs. To win 6-1 on aggregate is outstanding and his team selection and tactics were spot on.
  6. We're 2 goals up so there's no need to get anxious if they sit back. It would be crazy to try and draw us out as it wouldn't work.
  7. I think Pearo being quiet until the first goal was down to the tactics of trying to draw them out. After we scored he had more freedom to play and get forward. He's a class above anything they've got.
  8. We took our foot off the gas at 3-0 which is understandable and it was hard to get going again. There were several times earlier in the game where we burst forward and the Rangers players couldn't match us for pace, power or fitness. It was pleasing to see our players looking weary at the end as it meant they'd left nothing out there.
  9. We proved on Thursday that we're a better team than Rangers. We have more quality, more of a goal threat, more pace, more players with experience of big games, we're sharper, fitter, stronger and fresher. We have our top starting 11 available whereas there are rumours of Miller, Wallace and Law carrying knocks and McGregor suspended for them. We also have home advantage. We might be a bit apprehensive about the game but McCall will be shitting his pants.
  10. Shuts at 3.30pm today and is open from 10am tomorrow, not sure when it shuts though.
  11. Absolutely superb. Well done to Ian Baraclough and team. We were right up for that tonight and looked a class above them once we got going. McCall will have to think carefully about his tactics for Sunday and as we know that's his downfall...
  12. What do you expect him to say?
  13. The pro h*n media seem to have conveniently forgotten that Hibs were knocked back for extra tickets for Ibrox despite there being 10,000 empty seats. Arseholes.
  14. So this old guy who's not that mobile is desperate to go to this game on his own? There's been cup semi-finals, cup finals, Europa League and Champions League games but the one he's desperate to go to on his own is a relegation play-off against Sevco?
  15. You really think that anybody is thick enough to post a ticket to some unknown because a new member has come on here with some BS story about "an elderly relative"? Seriously?
  16. Get him a ticket then post the seat number on here so that we can all go and laugh at him.
  17. Would love to see McManus go through Vuckic with a "hard but fair" challenge. Don't think he'd be quite as interested after that.
  18. When the players leave I'm confident they will stay in professional football if they choose to. Can't say the same about the manager though.
  19. You obviously don't get it. There's a bit more to football management than putting the best 11 on the park and picking a formation. Senior players do need to be told how to defend properly. The whole team has to be told how to defend properly as a unit. That's one of the things they're supposed to work on in training under the managers instruction. If you watch a well coached team you can spot things that they've worked on in training. If you watch us you wonder if the team do anything in training.
  20. IMO he's never had the dressing room to lose. Every interview he's given is full of generic crap that the fans want to hear but you can't get away with that with players. They will have seen right through his gimmicks like yoga and resistance bands and quickly realised the mans an imposter. It's absolutely demoralising for the players when the man in charge is doing things that, to a professional football player, are ridiculous. Strange team selections, strange formations, strange substitutions, no real tactics etc - that's what makes the heads go down and make it look like lacklustre performances. And that's only the parts that we see so heaven only knows what it's like day in day out at training. It all stems from McCall virtually chucking it before the season started and Baraclough inherited a mess but he's been here long enough and made enough signings to make his mark (at least in the short term which is what he should have been looking at) and as far as I can see he's done nothing positive. It's crazy to think that in the past there were demonstrations to get Tommy McLean out the club yet nowadays fans just sit back and watch someone like Baraclough take us down. Changed days indeed.
  21. Really? What makes you think that?
  22. If it's just the best 11 on the pitch that you're looking for then there are plenty of people on here who could do the job. I think there should be a bit more to it than that.
  23. Best 11 means nothing if the tactics aren't spot on and the team aren't playing for the manager. Also, it's all very well some fans talking about professional pride etc but individual players giving 100% isn't the same as THE TEAM giving 100% collectively. That's where I think we are sadly lacking. Individuals are giving their all but we're not a team and that's down to the "manager".
