  1. And why was the first place prize money left untouched?
  2. Sevco might be looking for a new manager soon and McCall still hasn't signed his new deal......
  3. I'm happy for there to be a redistribution of prize money if it includes all league positions. However, I'm not happy if Motherwell have voted in favour of a change that lets first place (which will only be Celtic for the forseeable future) keep all of their prize money while second place (which we have a better chance than most of finishing in) loses a fortune. Would this happen if Rangers were still in the league and will it revert to the way it was if/when Sevco get to the top division?
  4. Should the 'Well Society not have been made aware of this as it's a pretty big change? I'd like to know what the clubs stance on this was as I'd be pretty pissed off if we were being asked to pump money in at one end while they were agreeing to changes like this that could potentially lose us a fortune in prize money.
  5. I thought £10 million of it had already been earmarked for work on Ibrox and McCoist had been promised £10 million for new players? Charles Green's lucky Sevco fans have memories like goldfish.

    Today's Game

    There's a live stream on Bet365.

    Fine Lasley

    Can't argue with that.

    Fine Lasley

According to the guys doing the commentary on MFCTV Lasley had already been booked.
  9. Surely there will have to be some sort of communication from the club. Ignoring the current members doesn't exactly make the Society very attractive to potential new members.
  10. And then someone else posted that it's his age at the end of his contract that counts so his birthday doesn't matter.
  11. I'm not a big fan of Stuart McCall but while we're sitting in third place in the league I feel it's unfair for people to be calling for him to go. Whether or not he should be offered a new contract is a different matter. If he can keep the majority of the team together I wouldn't be averse to him getting a new contract, however if (as looks likely) there's going to be a major rebuilding job required I'm not sure he's the man for the job.
  12. Pretty sure Shaun has 18 months to go on his contract.
  13. I think the appeal has to be submitted by 3pm today and the fast track appeal hearing would be tomorrow. I'm not 100% certain but I'm sure I read that somewhere yesterday.
  14. Stuart McCall was also offered a ban for getting sent to the stand against Aberdeen but contested it and won. Has there ever been a ban handed out where the incident wasn't highlighted by the media?
  15. That was my first thought when I saw who it was.
  16. Good win to get us back on track. Couldn't see that coming at all so well done to Stuart McCall and the team for a very welcome 3 points.
  17. Can't see it being down to his injury as he'll have to be fit enough to fill in for the referee in the event of him getting injured just as Brines replaced him last week. Unfortunately it doesn't look as if it was the career threatening injury I'd hoped for.
  18. When you take into account personnel, formation and tactics there are plenty of options for making changes.
  19. "I don't believe there is a lot wrong" Doesn't look as if there are going to be many changes for tomorrow.
  20. Cummins and Kerr have both had good games as well as bad ones. That's what happens with kids but in their case it is exacerbated by the fact the defence is being changed almost weekly and they don't have a Craigan type to play alongside them.
  21. I agree that the management have to take the majority of blame. The players are getting away with poor performances as they know their place in the team is pretty much guaranteed. I appreciate we have a small squad but I'd much prefer to watch some youngsters with a bit of enthusiasm and fight in them than see a lacklustre performance from a player who knows they won't be dropped. Time McCall gave them a wake-up call.
  22. Same here. Inverness pumping them shows just how pathetic a performance it was from McCall and the team.
  23. I would have liked to have seen us go for it a bit more today. We are a better team than Hearts and that showed in some of the football we played but their keeper hardly had a save to make. We were a goal down after 14 minutes but the only time we really went looking for an equaliser was 90+ minutes when we sent Randy up for a corner. Levein-esque tactics IMO.
  24. Did anybody actually hear an announcement over the tannoy that season tickets would not be valid? All I've seen so far is people saying they thought they heard the opposite and I'd be surprised if everybody misheard it.

    Celtic

Darren Randolph was head and shoulders above any other player.
