  1. Nah, not a theory either...was only trying to have a laugh. I very much doubt that Mr Boyle has or ever will be a member of a Masonic Lodge!
  2. Nope, certainly hasn't Lodge appointments are the way forward!
  3. "Hello Mr Boyle" ....(shake hands) "Ah, hello Brother McCall/Brown/Insert Name Here, welcome to Fir Park!"
  4. My thoughts side with some of the other posters on this thread, we have been extremely naive against Dundee Utd in the past season or so, they play on the counter with pace down the flanks. We always seem to try and match them and end up playing too high up the park which leave tonnes of space in behind our full backs that wee whippets like GMS exploit for fun. I'd pack out the middle of the park and tell our full backs not to commit forward and our left/right wingers to get back and double up on theirs. I'm hoping we play a 4-5-1 with the same defence as sat (depending on injuries) a midfield 5 of Lasley, Carswell, Ainsworth, Law and Vigurs and I'd opt for Erwin up front over Sutton just for his pace.
  5. Depending on injuries I'd have; Neilsen Reid Ramsden McManus Hammell Ainsworth Carswell Lasley Law Angol Sutton Think we will win 2-1!
  6. I think we are still a genuinely better side than most outwith Celtic, Aberdeen and Dundee Utd. I believe we will finish comfortably in the top six and hopeful that we can get a good draw in the Cup and go on decent run from there, would be extremely happy with mid-table mediocrity and a wee visit to Hampden to top off the season! It'll be a strange season in the league this year without Hearts, Hibs and Rangers. If you had told me 10 years ago that we would finish 2nd in the league and those teams would all be plying their trade in the first division the following season, I would've been asking for a draw of whatever your smoking! Outside of Motherwell, I think Dundee might have a good season and I think the relegation battle will be a two horse race between Ross County & Hamilton.
  7. Complaining about the clubs focus being too much on the short term....then demanding we bring in players on loan?!!!
  8. Terrible result for the club last night, we've shot ourselves in the foot yet again when we've had a chance of a bringing in decent money in the next round. Think the most disappointing thing for me is the way we've managed to give away a lead in both legs, our defence has not been good but it's certainly not being helped by midfielders not tracking back and putting tackles in. In my opinion Vigurs and Ainsworth are very guilty of this, leaving our full backs very exposed. We also don't have a plan B for when our normal way of playing isn't working, there doesn't seem to be any real alternative. We just seem to try and fit players into the same system? Kerr coming on at right wing for Ainsworth is just plain stupid and has been highlighted by just about anyone with eyes, we desperately need to look at how we get the best out of the players we have because I don't think we'll be signing anyone anytime soon!
  9. I'm gonna go for a nerve racking 2-1 to the Mighty Well.
  10. Bit indifferent choice for me, will give him a bit of time to make an impression. After recent performances we need a bit of fire and passion instilled in the team, if he can do that...starting saturday against the accies then i'll be a bit happier!
  11. Ross McCormack for me...dead ball specialist my arse! Very near every corner he took never got by the first man! I can only remember him scoring one free kick against Hibs at easter rd and that was only cos it was Makalamity in goals!..And he was a greedy wee waster to boot!
  12. From what I've read and heard Gannon has just been honest and said what everyones been thinking about our game for ages, hit the nail on the heed if you like but it's pissed off a few media hacks and the SFA who just see him as a jumped up wee outsider!!! I'm wae him all the way on this one! Goan yersel big man, get set in about them like a dug eatin beetroot!
  13. Heres one for the naughty stander-uppers at the deep end of FP. From the bbc website today: "We don't need no health and safety, We don't need no ground control, We're just here to support the Boro ....Hey, stewards, leave our fans alone!" To the tune of Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall, sung at Boro-Reading as fans at the front were told to sit down.
  14. was it into the right goals???
  15. Everton fans already use it for Leighton Baines! A classic!
  16. I still don't think that with a squad the size we have at the moment, we can afford to be letting go of guys that will come in and do a turn when they are needed.
  17. Fitzpatrick is a completly different type of player than forbes though so its a bit of an unfair comparison? For me fitzpatrick does all the dirty work that allows the guys with flair to play, more like the role that gannon has brought jennings in to play.
  18. Can't see us releasing anyone at the moment as our squad is threadbare, in my opinion we need at least another 4-5 signings to keep us going throughout the season. We desperately need a RB, centre half, centre forward and we need some cover for injuries & to add competition for places. I think there will still be a place for guys like marc and darren in our squad come the start of the spl season, apart from coke and ruddy I haven't really been all that impressed with our new signings!

  20. Think we tired towards the last 15 minutes which was probably inevitable in the heat! Can't believe the ref ordered a retake of the penalty 1-1 would've been an ideal result, but I still think we have enough about us to beat this team at home next week! C'mon the Well
  21. got it back on here http://atdhe.net/8033/watch-flamurtari-vs-motherwell
  22. same here m8! between the shadows and the cameraman filming from somewhere near italy it's murder to keep track of!
