Friday night football is good for me this time I would have missed the game if it was on saturday. I'd go with: randy hateley kerr cummings hammell humphrey lasley carswell law mchugh Higdon 3-2 Motherwell got a feeling Grithths will score at least one
-
In attack humphrey looked dangerous today he always does well vs grainger, murphy looked ok on the few occasions he got the ball in the centre but he never contributed anywhere near enough and Higdon won his fair share of flick ons but once again there was no one looking to get on the end of them Please never play hateley in midfield again McCall, Carswell was a million times better I hope he or hethrington get a run in the centre. Law was really quiet today and Lasley tried his best as usual. In Defence we looked much better in the second half. Kerr is much more comfortable at CB I'd make sure we play him there and Hateley at RB. I'm still not convinced by Ramsden Why were we so bad at throw ins? No one looked interested in getting the ball apart from carswell on a few occasions. We were just giving them the ball back every time

Just incase you weren't aware Leeann you can't make out a word that is been said in the east or cooper stand from the tannoy system (never sat in the other two stands so not sure about them)

HOTD for this pish

a dissapointing week didn't see the game today was following it on twitter at work but its sounds like we got well and truely pumped
-
There's a lot of money to be made in this cup. Full team please
-
was following the game on twitter at work found myself doing the higdon after his winner got some right funny looks. seen the goals on alba just there as well what on earth was raab douglas doing for our 1st goal? Bullet of a header by higgy for the 2nd feels great being top of the league
-
zombie's away should be hilarious gonna have to go to this one

really entertaining game and a great 3 points wasn't expecting that at all after midweek was good to see the young guys at the back get a game and they coped well enough. Johny page miss judged a crucial header that let foran in one on one then gave away the penalty in the 2nd half i'd say the jury's still out on him ive been impressed with zfa, cummings and kerr every time ive seen them. Hopefully we can get kerr in until the end of the season (think was only a 6 month loan deal) or more permanatly he's excellent and can play a number of positions. I think we should have had a penalty when kerr was brought down and their was an incident in the 2nd half at 2-1 where foran was brought down when clean through (looked offside anyway but no flag) and the ref gave us the advantage was a bit bizarre. Would have been a red card as well Excellent hatrick from higdon 3 brilliant finishes i like him and mchugh upfront together i hope they get a run of games as the front two higdon's much more effective when he's got someone close to him like boab was nice too see hump destroy the left back as well seems like a while since he's roasted someone like that. In a way it's good we never got anyone else in on deadline day as it give's the youngsters a game. Just been a good day all round thumping win and top of the league super sunday indeed.

Cheers for the replies earlier guys finnigans was bouncing last night Has anyone found a square etc that we can all meet at today or is it just back to finnigans again?
-
That's 4 of us booked into eurostars where is everybody?
-
600k plus is where I'd be starting the negotiations for hump ]
-
The red card was correct unfortunately IMO but I hate it when referees book a player as quick as they can then when anyone tries to reason he arrogantly waves his hand away. What's the point in that
-
couldn't make the game but losing a goal in the 93rd minute like that is a real kick on the nuts even if your just getting the info from a twitter feed still unbeaten in the league and if we beat ICT next week things start looking up again. We'll start improving imo once the european football is out the way. for those at the game how did kerr and hethrington play?
-
i just want a goal thats all i want from my trip to spain
-
massive anti climax and we never really had a go (apart from 10 mins after half time) we were so uneffectve up front that even the crowd went flat in the 1st half not been that dissappointed during a game for a long time never mind after it. A lot of our players just didn't look comfortable on the ball just never did ourself's any justice at all
-
Stuart mccalls played a blinder in terms of mind games. Faddy's actually signed he just wanted to make the levante coach sweat a bit I wish
-
Heard on sportsound that Apparently Cammy bell broke his arm during the game and is out for 2 months. Must have been Kerr's shot at the end
-
smashing 3 points red up for levante now
-
just the thought of faddy in a 'Well shirt ripping three defenders then banging a 25 yard beauty into the top bin is enough to make the average lanarkshire resident moist imo
-
i hate this game I'll be less than 2 miles away from the stadium at bloody work till 6 we're due to give killie an absolute thumping 3-0 motherwell
-
if we are going to sign faddy you'd imagine that that means that there's a done deal for one of our players leaving
-
thought we were quite good in the first half but the changes at half time swung the game in saints favour. We were basicaly playing with 4 forwards in murphy, mchugh, ojamma and higdon and saints looked like scoring every time they went forward they were able to run half way up the pitch without a challenge and hasslebank ripped hately several times. It wasn't a good balance at all their goal was coming and they really should have added to it but we actually played better with 10 men and the long ball to higdon (a tactic we rarely see from us) was really effective with mchugh in and around him. Mchugh isn't the greatest in the world but he trys like fuck i hope he gets a chance in the team now and how that boy managed to block hutchy's shot on the line i'll never know you could tell that saints player was going to get sent off as well two stupid reckless tackles he never had to make murphy and ojamma are really off form and have little confidence im sure once they get a goal they will come good again
-
I hope so mate im not overlly worried by the stat either but if we don't score today you know what this place will be like
-
st johnstone look pretty strong tbh I expect them to be comfortably in the top 6 and a darkhorse for 2nd place. We seem to be their bogey team tho lets hope that continues. Hopefully we see a Motherwell goal today Higdon's winner at tynecastle feels like years ago, we've now gone over 5 competivive games without a goal. I'd take any sort of boring scrappy 1-0 win here
