2 points dropped for me as well. Jenno should have buried that chance at theend but we really struggled to get going all game.
when was the last time we actually won at home in the spl? i make it at least 5 games without a win
if reynolds does go, as happy as i am for page, hutch and saunders to get a chance, if then craigan gets injured then we are well short of experience. worries me slightly
we were piss poor and got what we deserved, however
shaun maloney is a diving wee shite - no one even tackled him and any contact if any occured after the wee rat was already on his knees - and dougie mcdonald went to bed with celtic. he couldn't wait to give that pen - like a 5 year old at christmas
i don't mind losing but not like that taste fuckin sour so it does
celtic fans are a complete embaresment to the country they can shove that IRA pish up there arse. also notice one of our fans let of a smoke bomb or something so stupid
rant over
mulgrew is out which is bad because he was the real weakness - also a good thing because his set peices are dynamite. however hump vs joe ledley and murphy vs their asian right back on the wing i think we can cause them real problems.
mon the well
like the look of yir elders team except i would maybe rest craigan for page.
a win would be lovely, a draw would be good bonus and a narrow defeat is more realistic.
hopefully the celtic fans will be on there own teams back from the start
Mon the 'Well
its a close one between hump and murphy for me. as for Saunders he's solid enough defensively but i wish he would show for the ball more and he needs to work on his distribution but he's only a kid and playing out of position so im not going to be hard on him.
thought reynolds played utaka really well last night as well.
still gutted
on reflection still think the same as last night - that we played reasonably well and created six glorious chances but just couldn't put them away despite showing them far too much respect at times during the 1st half.
my only gripe is the two or three other penaltys we should have had in both legs. two other deliberate handballs should have been given as penaltys last night.
we will struggle to get a better chance for the group stages which still has me on a low because Odense were extremely poor last night. they created next to nothing and some of their defending was absolutley horiffic - school boy stuff. I'm not saying Odense are a bad team but last night they were rotten and they are extremely lucky to be in the draw.
anyway onwards and upwards
Mon the 'Well
devestated we blew it. i mean we played decent enough created 5 clear cut chances just couldn't convert them. my only gripe is we were denied another two stonewall penaltys both for handball.
Odense bk are fuckin shite never seen such terrible defending before. I've no idea how we've lost the tie - should never of got beat in 1st leg either.
gutted we went out to such a pish team
im gutted Jennings is out, id fancy our chances much more if he was not suspended.
im confident that forbes/fitzy/blackman could all do a job for us at left mid if picked.
i dont think we'll keep a clean sheet and think this tie will probably go into extra time. canny feckin wait. Mon the Well
+1
Broons gamble worked. it was a poor game but the performances of blackman and page were very positive indeed. Aye Casagolda was poor but im not gonna judge him on just one game.
bring on the Danes.
did anyone catch what happened in the tunnel at half time? Rugby park is the worst stadium for comfort ever
starting team yesterday
Randolph
Saunders Crags Reynolds Hammell
Hump Hateley Lasley Jennings
Sutton Murphy
If We are resting players then this is possibly our stongest back up 11 including jennings (suspended)
Hollis
Charalambous Hutchinson Page Halsman
Forbes Fitzpatrick Jennings Blackman
Casagolda McHugh
looks reasonably strong team to me. Brown has decisions to make
So was Jim O'Brien and some on here say he had no end product either. anyway you would expect a manager like Broon to stamp that out of him.
anyway i just think he's looked a real threat going forward from either wing any of the times ive seen him and thats something we are lacking perhaps
gotta be in hamilton at 6 on sunday night. what are the odds of me making it back in time bearing in mind my cars a banger that struggles up hills?
as for the game, Killie don't have any real firepower and we will be tired after our euro game. 1-0 either way
