  1. I thought that Chalmers was a one year deal so I'm disappointed he's not. I'd imagine we'll try and punt him out on loan
  2. Brilliant result I thought we might sneak a draw before the sickness etc but to win is up there with the best win of the season. I wasn't there today but listened to most of it on the radio. How were Leitch and Ainsworth? I'd have taken 4 points from the 3 games pre split before today so we've given ourselves a good chance anyway.
  3. chick Young has just said Faddy has broken an ankle
  4. cheers for clearing that game up for me people. I just remember a bigger than normal crowd but I'd forgotten the circumstances and the thunder. Shame I can't find highlights of it.
  5. This news gives me the fear. Hopefully it goes well
  6. Some size of crowd at those games. Also dem hats
  7. 1500 is very decent amount to have sold that'll be three home games in a row with decent away supports. I'm not going to make any predictions etc until I hear an injury/suspension update probably at our press conference. I mind a game at Fir park possibly in McGhee's first spell maybe before where they had to beat us to get into Europe and we won 2-1. They had Jimmy Calderwood, Lee Miller and Aluko I think Darren Smith was still with us. Can't find any highlights on YouTube any one help me out. Only 27 and my memory is gash already
  8. Good news on Cadden he's settled into the team nicely. Hopefully he can kick on and make us some money
  9. I only really follow them on Twitter and then the highlights. The names that usually stand out are Thomas, Mackin, Watt and MacLean but recently R Leitch and 16 year old Turnball have been getting mentions as well. As mentioned the first final in 30 years so we must be doing something right. I'm going to try and make the final if the date suits. Ps I fucking love Craggs
  10. The first half was a good watch and there were chances at both ends but their big chance was down to a defensive blunder from us. We were the better team and unlucky not to win by more. I mentioned this on p&b but since McGhee has come in we have scored a lot of goals from set pieces which is pleasing. Off the top of my head: Mcdonald from a freekick at pitodrie, moult bs Dundee from a corner, Hall vs st Johnstone from a corner, Pearson from a corner vs County, a freekick and a corner at tannadice, a corner at Perth and a corner vs Accies yesterday. Good to finally see us win at that dump.
  11. With the forum in a better mood this week lets keep it positive and talk about memorable late goals for us. There are obvious ones ie skippy Sunday and fitzy and more random ones. Tom Hateleys freekick goals at St Mirren and an equaliser in Odense looked an immense bounce in the stands. However one of my favourite ones was a late John Sutton winner at St Johnstone under Craig Brown. Mainly because we were pish almost all game so it was unexpected. I think that was the game we broke some kind of clean sheet record
  12. We have had so many chances recently to put a bit of a gap between ourselves and Killie, Accies and Partick sides that are just as poor as us this season. Surely by the law of averages we're due to finally win one of these games. Hopefully the boo boys don't abuse every bad ball this home game it does no one any good. 2-1 Motherwell
  13. Really? I've always been reasonably impressed with Anderson. However there was one game in Perth where he started left back and got subbed off in the first half because Humphrey was giving him an absolute roasting. I miss hump
  14. No wonder they lost lost with that defence Anderson is the only one I rate out the 4. If they they play that back four again I'd be confident of getting at least a point
  15. tremendous result that I don't think anyone would have predicted in terms of the margin. Didn't sound like the greatest performance in the world and we rode our luck a bit at the start of the second half but job done and a vital three points. Hats off to McGhee I feared the worst when I saw the team and formation but he certainly proved me wrong tonight.
  16. if lasley doesn't make it I think we'll see Cadden and Gomis in the centre.
  17. Faddy has signed till the end of the season and is available for today's match
  18. Like didn't realise that Higgy was suspended for them. That's a nice we bonus I think
  19. Ripley Law Kennedy McMannus Hammell Johnson Lasley Gomis Pearson McDonald Moult The above is how I'd go. If we're going one up front it's got to be Moult rather than skippy in my opinion. 3-1 Motherwell
  20. Did he end up winning whatever league it was when he was meant to be getting an interview with us?
  21. According to my brother, who heard a bit of Clyde 1 for some reason, McGhee has kicked a hole in the referee's dressing room door and swore on his Clyde interview. I've no idea what he was complaining about although the post above about a foul on Gomis may be the reason
  22. There wasn't really anything in the tie to be honest Inverness were just as average as we were and won it with yet another Fir Park worldy. A replay would have been a fairer result. McGhee was right to try something different but playing Mcdonald as a lone striker was never gonna work and he did take far to long to change it. It was a bit bizarre hearing 'Well fans shout you don't know what your doing at the manager and booing every long pass. The sarcastic cheering both times when Moult was about to come on was quite comical as well. Disappointed to lose a late goal again especially in the cup. Killie next week really is a must win
  23. I can't think of one. I'd imagine it's been a long time since someone who isn't Ainsworth has scored from outside the box
