  1. I also had a couple of Arthur Black shirts. One was Claret with Amber piping and the famour AB Logo stitched on the collar. The ensemble was completed by my sky blue staypress trousers and astronaut DM's.
  2. He played for the buns during the period which resulted in the situation they find themseoves in now. What do you expect the guy to say ffs. If Hearts were in a similar position expect similar comments from JJ regardless of who his current employer is. Don't we allow our manager to express a personal opinion? He gives 100% for MFC and will continue to do so for as long as he is with us and I don't have a problem with him expressing opinions on previous employers.
  3. Cue an og on Sunday. Hope he plays and gets a great reception for the service he has given to the Well.
  4. I don't think most would as the product is poor and most fans are looking for cost reductions rather than increases. The silence from the Chairmen of the SPL clubs, TV and other stakeholders is deafening. Somebody take a decision and stand by it FFS.
  5. "Erza macaroon bars and yer spearmint chewing gum". And, "Get your offishul programme".
  6. The Chairmen of the other clubs in the SPL will cave in and vote the newco into the SPL because they are businessmen and they see that is the best decision for their team as a business concern. Don't think for one minute that Chairmen will be swayed by listening to fans concerns on forums or leters of complaint. Deal with it and move on or stop going to watch Motherwell.
  7. Reduce the prices and let the kids in for free. Todays kids for free could become fully fledged paying supporters when they grow up. And they will buy the odd pie and bovril too.

Hutch cruised through the match. Special mention for both full backs also.

Didn't see the game so it would be a guess but will plump for Higgy only because he scored and he gets undeserved pelters.
  10. Celtic have won the league though and beat Rangers handsomely yesterday in what was their last big game of the season. The players will have switched off now and I can see Utd beating Celtic.
  11. Sometimes it's glaringly obvious who the best man on the park was. In this case, step forward Humph. Now he needs to keep that form going for a few more games.

Yes but we're playing Celtic and we all know our record against the OF. Even though we have more points right now I can't see us holding off Utd. Where are we going to pick up the points? They are playing well and have superior strikers to ours. If it all comes down to the last game of the season I would expect them to win that game. Sorry but that's how I see it and I will gladly eat a gigantic portion of humble pie if I'm wrong!
  13. Aye they better hope the dogs can detect glue as well.
  14. All of the Celtic fans that live in Lanarkshire will probably turn up as it's the only game they can afford to go to.
  15. Why should the decision have any bearing on whether you support your own team? Surely staying away in protest is hurting Motherwell more than anything else. Register your complaints, boo them every time we play them, write to your MP but for pity's sake support Motherwell whatever the outcome.
  16. Yeah that guy's a seven day wonder
  17. Unfortunately I think Hibs are due to give someone a humping too. I don't think we wlil get thumped but I'm not so confident as others. This is an away game against a team scrapping for points. A draw would be a good result in my view.
  18. Momentum in sport is a big contributing factor. Utd and Saints have been playing well and we have struggled a bit recently. Goals win games and we need OJ and Higdon to get the shooting boots on or I fear we will miss out on third.
  19. It's always better to have the points in hand but Dundee Utd are really playing well and I thought St Johnstone were unlucky yesterday at Darkheid. There is much to play for and it's still in our hands but anyhthing from third to fifth is still a possibility. Suspensions and injuries are crucial now and could play a part as well.
  20. I remember back in the day when marauding Rangers fans ran amok through the shopping centre, smashing shop windows and generally terrorising the town. Having said that' times have changed and it's disappointing that we can't get a decent home support when we are in third place and playing the team in second place. Reduce the prices or let the kids in for a fiver, do something to get bums on seats and fill the place.
  21. I thought Las was really unlucky withy the booking. It looked like the Rangers player cleared it, fell and Las fell over him. Also, and slightly controversial, I thought big Darren could have done better for Whittaker's goal. He initially went to his left and when the ball moved he couldn't get back. It probably looks worse than it was but I thought he could have made an effort. I know he has been outstanding this season and has saved us many points, just making an observation on that goal.
  22. The main stand should be sacrosanct and exclusive for 'Well fans. I know it could result in losing money if we don't sell a portion to the OF but it sticks in my craw to share the same stand with opposition supporters and we should consider the feelings of our supporters first and foremost.
